Debris crunched underfoot. Scarlet walked up to the top of a hill. The wind was sharp, fast - it billowed her cloak.
Ruined expanse. Nothingness. Pests here. Pests there. All was vanity outside Mecha Ruin.
But with a dismissive turn of glance, she spread the brown paper map and looked at it. It was a bit burnt at the edges, having fought through some fire to acquire it. Blood of the bad guys in her hand. She couldn't help but let it stain her.
"The temple of Persephone," she mumbled, moving her eyes over the map. Luckily, she saw it. East west on the map. Near a drill mill. Has a small river before it.
Scarlet pulled a long sigh to the air as she strapped it back into her pocket. The temple was not the cause, of course, it wasn't a demon holding flames on its head. But it was what it takes to cross towards it.
