Chapter 119 - The Moon Queen

"Abbas, why were you people cheering and chanting?"

In Skylar's arm as he sits on Goldie's velvet feathers as he fly above the sea of snow white, fluffy morning cloud; is Lingyue nestled in his arms as she sits on his laps, with her legs stretched perpendicular to his outstretched legs.

Lingyue when she heard his voice transmitted by his glyph mobile he is holding, landed her chin on his left shoulder, hiding her veiled face from him.

Over the earring, adorning Skylar's ears, a reply arrived:

"Big bro, its because leader allowed you to carry them in a bridal carry."

"Just that." Skylar blurted. He was flabbergasted by the reply.

"Not just that big bro." The voice from the earring—communicator—replied. It continued. "Its because leader have always said she will only allow her man to carry her in a bridal carry, so those guys thought their is something going on between you and our leader."

"Big bro, you know they don't know much about you and our leader right?... So, it was like they get to know the relationship between you and leader for the first time; and you know, they can't help but get excited when they saw leader obediently surrender in your arms..."

"I see." Skylar nodded and looked briefly at Lingyue in his arms.

Wow! She is evolving!

Sighting her alluring uncovered neck, and discovering her smooth clear skin that now looks more glossy and crystalline milky white, glowing softly and enchantingly like white jade under moonlight, Skylar's eyes widened in suprise and awe.

Then setting his thoughts aside, he raised his head and continued, "But why is her love life a cause for excitement? its not like it will bring them some hidden benefit, Will it?"

"Big bro you don't know!?!"

"Know what?" Skylar casually replied the exclaimed voice from the communicator.

"Big bro, you remember Golden king I told you is crazy obsessed with leader."

"The guy that chased me from his ship?"

"Yes." The voice replied. It continued. "Big bro, the thing is... that idiot is not the only one obsessed with leader."

"Oh..." Skylar exclaimed, suprised. His eyes widened. Then he glanced at Lingyue whose enticing neck has turned red from embarassment, since she can hear and has been listening to their conversation about her.

Meanwhile, the voice continued, "...Our leader for some strange mysterious reason has been very popular among people, people call big men; its like leader bewitched all of them. So, most of us have been waiting to see who leader will end up with. And when it turned out to be you, you know... everyone got excited."

"They think, compare to all those snobbish pompous guys that look down on people... you a random person having leader is something they can live with."

"I see. Then I must have hit a jackpot." Skylar chuckled. He felt amused and dismissive of their train of thought—thier thinking that considered him random and lucky to have a relationship with Lingyue, their former leader.

"But wait." Suddenly he frowned. He realized something. "Why didn't any of those big guys helped her when your courtyard was sinking?"

"Big bro, its tactics." The voice replied. "You know leader is very stubborn, so the idiots have been waiting for leader to hit rock bottom and come running to their arms, helpless... they have been bidding thier time and worth, appealing to leader in the meantime... And you know how proud they are? Each of them think leader will easily fall on their lap at the end..."

"You are saying, they are are like prince charming waiting for the time the beauty hit a snag and need real help, before they make a move?" Skylar interrupted.

"Yes." The voice replied. "And you know what big bro? I think you are a prince charming from a distant country that stole a march on them. *laugh* I wonder how pissed they will be when they notice. I am super excited thinking about it. *laugh*"

"I am also excited." Skylar agreed with the voice, he smiled, slightly nodding his head.

"Yeah, big bro. It will be fun beating those idiots up." The voice laughed, agreeing more.

"You get it. Two to three hot slaps on their faces, should reset their factory settings." Skylar grinned maliciously. He dearly fantasized the idea; imagining idiots come up to him, yapping, then he slaps them several times and they scramble away with a swollen face, like a dog.

However, suddenly in his imagination, he realized something. He softly clenched his teeth with his lips parted wide. Then returning his focus to the communicators on his ears, he resumed, exclaiming:

"Wait! Why are we assuming I have something romantic going on with Lingyue?!"

Wondering, he questioned, and like a reaction to his words, Lingyue seated, nestling in his arms, stiffened. However, he didn't notice as his focus was on the communicator as he awaits a reply.

"Don't you? Big bro." The voice responded, questioning, sounding surprised and confused.

"Of course I_"

"Hey lover boy! We have arrived. Get off!" Goldie's voice yelled in Skylar's mind, cutting his reply short.

Why is this one doing like I owe him money.

Skylar because of Goldie's manner chuckled amusingly, and like a response to his instruction, he rose from his back, carrying Lingyue with him in a princess carry. And as he do this, Goldie tilts, facing downward at an angle. Then after Goldie finds his balance mid air— just like Skylar who is now standing more steadily on top of him with Lingyue in his arms— *Boom* suddenly hr nose dived towards the fluffy white mass of cloud below, piercing it and passing through it, in a couple of seconds. And after he emerged majestically from it—the wings of his ten meter version outstretched; rays of light coming from the hole they made in the cloud they passed through, hit Skylar's side profile partly uncovered by the hood on his head, making his front view look otherworldly and his back view—as seen by Starboy who is looking through a glyph device on his face that looks like a snow goggle—grand and mysterious.

Then in the next second and in one swift motion, Skylar figure as seen by Starboy through the lens of his magnifying glyph goggles he wore, jumped from Goldie's back mechanically, trailing a perfect parabola in the air towards land; and with a mass of flaming white cloud enveloping Goldie who continued in its flight path towards the roof of the executive guild building of lavender in front of them, Skylar neared ground—a space between the executive guild building and the guild's dome-shaped garage. And with his toes touching the grass carpeting the space gently and quietly, he lands softly and soundlessly without bending his knees, just like he rode the wind.

Meanwhile, having watch all this through his goggles, Starboy who is still riding in the sky behind them—on a white flying board, the shape and size of a surfboard—just like the one Skylar seized from sunny, but bigger—grinned funnily as he scratched his cheek.

"PDA and aura farming. It seems big bro might not belong to our side." He muttered. Then haven't for once stopped his journey towards lavender; his sky board picked up speed, weaved pass an incoming sky vehicles, and continued on a straight path, full steam ahead.

Meanwhile, Skylar as he landed, let down Lingyue gently.

"This is where I am staying for now. Depending on what the person in charge decides, it might be my home for a very long time." He informed her as she steady her footings with his help, and as she took in her surroundings.

As Skylar continue to hold her gloved hand, she looked from the tall flower hedge surrounding the vast circular lawn she is standing on, to the rear view of the guild executive building to her left. Her gaze lingered on the chameleon glass walls of the more than three hundred meter tall building that display images of real world classical pictures, just like a cathedral stained glass.

Linking the tall circular flower hedge and joining with it, leading into the hedged lawn, is a wide passage that starts from the only arched entrance at the back of the executive building; and if one pass through it, stepping into the vast lawn and continued in a straight path, one will reach another gap in the tall circular flower hedge where another identical passage is, but will lead to where the entrance of the dome-shaped garage made entirely of chameleon glass wall is.

"Sky, you brought the Evermoon throne? As expected of the one and only. Hihihi..."

A voice coming from Lingyue's left side gained her attention. She turned her head from the garage made entirely of chameleon glass, to the passage that links the arched rear entrance of the executive building to the lawn; and there appeared an exceptionally stunning japanese beauty with straight black hair tied in ponytails with blunt bangs, who is steadily and excitedly walking towards them with a playful smile on her oval face. Moreover, the most outstanding quality of this beauty, one can easily notice from afar is her black mysterious irises that greatly enhance her limpid and clear pure eyes.

Skylar looked at the eighteen year old-looking world-class beauty—Yami. He could see she is dressed in a black lace leggings that emphasize her large juicy thighs that the black pleated micro skirt sitting on her curvy and meaty waist could barely hide, and a black round-neck top that clung tightly to her body and outline her large braless round breast and their peaks that seems to want to poke holes through it.

Is she up to something again? well...

Skylar pursed his lips momentarily, then he turned his face to Lingyue beside him—her ear that is close to him specifically.

"Lingyue, she is Yami. She may not look it... she is a supee dangerous person... she also happens to be the only person I trust unconditionally in this simulation for now." Skylar spoke like a whisper into Lingyue's ear as he points at Yami who has almost reached them—he introduced Yami to her. "Don't ask me how I come to trust her; I also don't know, and I will be happy if anyone can explain to me. But my gut tells me I can always trust her; my gut has never failed me before."

"I understand." Lingyue nodded to Skylar's words.

What do you understand? Skylar wondered as Lingyue turned to face Yami who is now a couple steps in front of them.

"I am player Lingyue. Please, take care of me." Lingyue said and bowed deeply to Yami.

Why is she doing that? Skylar felt her deep bow was unnecessary. Going by his personal opinion of Yami; he thinks Yami is not someone worthy of that level of acknowledgement; the deep bow, for example.

"Hihihi... Number seven, you are welcome." Yami with a smile and giggle nodded at Lingyue. She sounded both cryptical and playful.

However she suddenly paused; her eyes shifted skyward and eastward in contemplation briefly, then giving Skylar a side glance, she resumed, "It should be the other way round. Hihihi..."

She nodded at Lingyue with a playful smile. "This is your home after all, I am the intruder here."

"?" Lingyue paused. What Yami said, seems to totally confused her, as she turned to face Skylar right beside her, probably seeking clarity.

"Don't mind her. You can totally ignore her; she has problems." Skylar said, he assured her.

"Hihihi..." Grinning, Yami suddenly dived forward. She landed in Skylar's embrace and hugged him tightly, then she lifted her head and met his eyes.

"You are all my problems." She said to him in an odd casual manner, unlike her regular playful demeanor Skylar is mostly familiar with.

What's her problem today? Who knows...

Skylar wondered, his face expressed it. Then embracing her in return, placing his palms on large fleshy rear, he returned his focus to her.

"Yami, where is my cloak? Loki robe." He asked her.

"Which cloak?" She retorted. She blinked her eyes looking up at him; her manner was like she doesn't understand what she is saying.

Is this bitch kidding me...

Skylar frowned at her. He squeezed hard her large protruding rear that yielded like mocchi, making Yami yelp playfully.

"Kyaaaah..."

That's what you get for being a bitch... Skylar grinned.

In response, Yami softly hit his chest.

"That hurt." She pouted, her manner like an aggrieved child. Then as her black eyes reflect Skylar's expressionless-looking face—seeming not to take her tantrum seriously—she continued, "Your cloak is in Ila's suite. Its on her bed."

"Is it locked?" Skylar questioned.

"Hihihi..." Yami giggled playfully. "Don't you know you have access to anywhere on this territory?"

"Is that alright?" Skylar brows furrowed. "What if Ila return and doesn't agree with everything?"

He sounded out-of-character worried. He thinks the right to everyone's private space might be something she wouldn't agree with, giving his encroachment on the guild is getting out of hand, and giving she has not agreed to be part of his project yet.

"What are you thinking?" Yami as she replied showed a rare look of solemnity. She buried the side of her face on his chest like she wants to listen closely to his heartbeat. She continued. "You should know it is written. Ila will definitely agree. She might even offer more than me at the end..."

What's this bitch talking about?

Skylar was confused by her reply. He clenched the left part of his teeth while raising his left cheekbone—a facial expression showing confusion in response to her words.

*Ring*

Suddenly, his glyph mobile in his pocket vibrated and rang, making him drop his confusion.

Shit.

In realization he has somewhere to go, he turned his attention to Lingyue who has been watching them with an expression only known to her, since her veiled face can't be seen. Then he informed her, "Lingyue, she will show you around and help you settle in."

"Okay." Lingyue nodded. Then Skylar like he vanished left the scene.
