Chapter 126 - CHAPTER 126

After acquiring Asgard's core technology, Ragna instructed Tony Stark and his team to accelerate the construction of Bifrost on Angel Star. With the Asgardian schematics now in hand, Stark's advanced engineering skills combined with Celestial technology would allow them to recreate the Rainbow Bridge's teleportation capabilities.

Following this, Ragna made another trip back to Earth, where he collected the entire Kamar-Taj spell library from Doctor Strange. The knowledge was promptly uploaded to Angel's mind network, ensuring that the advanced mystical arts of Earth's Sorcerers would now be integrated into his empire's forces.

For countless millennia, Kamar-Taj had been humanity's shield against Dormammu. Each generation of Sorcerer Supreme had fought against the Dread Lord of the Dark Dimension, searching for ways to sever his connection to the faith energy of countless worshippers. Among the vast collection of spells, Ragna found several designed specifically to weaken Dormammu's ties to his followers, thereby disrupting the flow of power that made him a cosmic threat.

Even though these spells could not outright destroy Dormammu, they were sufficient to cut off his access to the belief-driven energy source that fueled his strength. This was precisely what Ragna needed.

By implementing these Kamar-Taj techniques, Angel—his most powerful AI-assisted warrior—was able to successfully isolate Dormammu's influence. This finally freed Lian Bing and the Mind Stone from the task of suppressing Dormammu's incursions, allowing Ragna to put them to greater use in the coming cosmic war.

Beyond their utility in combating Dormammu, Kamar-Taj's teleportation magic and Mirror Dimension were highly versatile tools. As his empire grew, Angel's forces faced increasingly powerful enemies—foes capable of mass destruction. A single misstep could annihilate entire civilizations, and many of the worlds worth fighting for were populated by Ragna 's devout followers. Every loss of life among them was a loss to his divine kingdom.

The Mirror Dimension provided a perfect solution. By confining battles within a pocket reality, Ragna could ensure that civilian casualties were minimized. Meanwhile, the Sling Ring teleportation technique allowed his forces to respond instantly to distress calls from his believers, ensuring that aid was never out of reach.

Unlike traditional spacefaring vessels that required light-years to traverse galaxies, Kamar-Taj's magic could teleport warriors instantly across cosmic distances with minimal energy consumption. This ability was an invaluable strategic advantage—one that could determine the extent of his dominion.

A territory's true power was not measured by its size, but by how quickly its ruler could project force across it. If a government took ten years to respond to an uprising at its borders, it would never truly control that region. With teleportation at his disposal, Ragna 's Sacred Heavenly Palace could expand without limits.

Additionally, some of Kamar-Taj's most lethal spells were perfect for empowering the Inhumans—Ragna 's elite warrior caste, enhanced by the Terrigen Mist. Unlike ordinary humans, the Inhumans' unique genetic makeup allowed them to wield arcane magic more effectively. By integrating these spells into their training, Ragna 's divine soldiers would become even stronger.

The Strengthening of Asgard

While the Holy Heavenly Palace prepared for war, Asgard, under Hela's rule, underwent a radical transformation. With the technological advancements gifted by Ragna , Asgard was no longer the same stagnant monarchy it had been under Odin.

For the first time in thousands of years, Asgard entered a full military mobilization. Thousands of ordinary Asgardians were drafted into service, while training regimens intensified. However, this shift was not met with unanimous approval—many Asgardians, accustomed to centuries of peace, resented the sudden militarization.

Asgard had grown complacent under Odin's long reign. Many had forgotten the true horrors of war.

But Hela had not.

When the first wave of Sentinels and Iron Legion warriors was completed, Asgard's ordinary soldiers were shocked. The mechanical warriors were relentless, efficient, and overwhelming. Even the weakest among them matched the strength of a Second-Tier Asgardian. The more advanced Sentinel units were nearly Third-Tier in power.

To put this into perspective—the Warriors Three were considered Second-Tier Asgardians, while warriors like Lady Sif or Hogun had barely reached Third-Tier combat levels. In Asgard's hierarchy, Third-Tier warriors typically commanded entire battalions.

Yet now, mass-produced artificial soldiers were just as strong.

For the proud Asgardians, this was not just a reality check—it was an unforgivable insult.

The realization struck hard.

Asgard's so-called supremacy was a relic of the past. Their warriors were no longer the universe's elite. If they wanted to reclaim their former glory, they needed to evolve.

Driven by a renewed sense of duty, even Thor and Loki began training harder. After being privately beaten down by Hela, they had no choice but to take their training seriously. Thor, through sheer determination, broke through his limits and finally attained Fourth-Tier combat power—though still at the weakest Fourth-Tier level.

However, wielding Mjolnir, he could reach Mid-Fourth-Tier strength.

If granted the Stormbreaker, his power would rise to High-Fourth-Tier—matching even Hela's full strength without Asgard's divine empowerment.

But the Stormbreaker was not yet his.

Hela had emptied Odin's treasury, replacing many of its treasures with forged replicas, while ordering the dwarves to forge her own God-King weapon—the Blade of Death.

However, true power takes time to forge.

Both Hela and Ragna were waiting.

The Mystery of Thanos and Gamora

Meanwhile, back on Angel, Ragna pondered a lingering question.

"Nebula, hasn't Thanos captured Gamora yet?" Ragna inquired, seated on his throne.

A transmission from Nebula appeared on the screen. She was hidden in a remote location, her voice cautious.

"I told Thanos that Gamora knew the location of the Soul Stone… but the coordinates turned out to be invalid," Nebula explained. "I tracked her ship, but she disappeared. She sold the spaceship for a fortune and vanished."

She hesitated before adding, "Thanos' forces are weaker now. Without the Black Order, the Dark Quadrant has lost much of its power."

Ragna waved his hand, cutting her off. "Understood. I will instruct the Mercenary Guild to track Gamora. If Thanos does not find her soon… I will retrieve the Soul Stone myself."

The Soul Stone demanded a sacrifice of true love—a price Thanos was willing to pay.

But Ragna knew the cosmic game had loopholes. With the right manipulation, even love and sacrifice could be manufactured.

If Thanos failed, Ragna would not.

"Nebula, what is Thanos doing now?" Ragna asked.

Nebula hesitated. "I don't know. He's been… different. More withdrawn. More powerful. Ever since the Black Order's destruction, he's barely spoken to me. He still carries out his plan for balance, but… something's changed."

Thanos had lost his most loyal generals. He had suffered humiliation. And now, he prepared for his final move.

Ragna smirked.

"Let him prepare. Soon, I will make my move. The time for waiting is almost over."

With Ego's Star-Seeding Project nearing completion, the final battle for universal supremacy was coming.

And Ragna would be ready.
