Chapter 727 - Chapter 669 WWF Special Match Teaser

Wednesday 12 May 1996.

Zaboru was once again at the WWF headquarters—Titan Tower—this time to formally submit the gimmick for his upcoming guest debut match. As he laid out his detailed concept, Vince McMahon couldn't help but grin with surprise and amusement.

"Damn, Zaboru! I knew you were creative, but this? This is on another level. Did you really come up with this whole persona in just one month? Damn!" Vince exclaimed, still grinning in disbelief.

Zaboru chuckled. He had already submitted every detail—from the costume design to the entrance music and the custom video package for his debut. The whole presentation left Vince awestruck. With everything Zaboru had planned—and given his current fame—Vince was absolutely certain: this debut was going to be a hit.

Vince leaned forward, puzzled. "But why L1GM4? And what is that—Ligma? What does LIGMA even mean?"

Zaboru nearly lost it, holding his breath to keep from laughing out loud. L1GM4 was a code only he understood, and in this world, he had never revealed its true meaning—'LIG MA Balls!' It was a running inside joke, a hidden easter egg embedded across various ZAGE games.

He composed himself and responded with a straight face, "It's just a kind of code. Treat it like an easter egg during the match. ZAGE fans will definitely get the reference."

Zaboru continued, "I think you're planning to use the Hulk Hogan vs. Bret Hart match, right? In the promo ads before this match, scatter the code L1GM4 throughout. In each scene, censor a single letter—like L*GM4 or L1*MA. That subtle mystery will get people talking."

Vince nodded. "Okay, sure thing. The match is scheduled for next week, so starting tonight, we'll begin airing the ads for the Hulk Hogan versus Bret Hart showdown. Honestly, this is shaping up to be a huge match—it's going to be interesting, hehehe."

Zaboru nodded in agreement. He had already been training in wrestling and, to his surprise, found it wasn't as difficult as he'd expected because his enlightment ability. He had the perfect costume ready for his gimmick, fully designed and custom-made. Not only that—Zaboru had personally written the script outlining how the entire match would play out, including the key moments and fan-service spots. Vince was impressed with the narrative and pacing, giving it a thumbs-up. Rehearsals had already started with Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, and the other superstars involved, and everything was running smoothly.

And Vince McMahon was genuinely surprised by how quickly Zaboru adapted to the wrestling world. The man was not only athletic—he had a natural instinct for the art of showmanship. In just a few short hours, Zaboru had already mastered the basics: how to throw a convincing fake punch, how to fall safely, how to sell a hit, and even how to properly time his moves in sync with the flow of the match. Vince watched him in action during a rehearsal and couldn't believe how fluid he looked in the ring.

Zaboru was absorbing everything like a sponge. He asked questions, watched replays, and adjusted his technique on the fly. It wasn't just talent—it was intelligence and drive. He understood the unspoken rhythm of wrestling, the psychology behind the moves, and how to play to the crowd even when they weren't there.

By the end of the day, Vince was shaking his head in disbelief. Zaboru didn't just pick it up—he made it look easy. That level of adaptability was rare. Vince knew then and there: Zaboru wasn't just a gimmick. He was a genius performer.

Vince grinned. "We should do this more often, Zaboru—honestly."

Zaboru grinned back. "Then let me buy some shares of WWF. That way, I can help make it flourish."

Vince sighed, half-joking, half-serious. "Well, my wife still needs some time to think about that... Just wait—maybe after the match?"

Zaboru laughed and nodded. "Sure thing, I'll wait."

With that, Zaboru returned to the ZAGE USA offices.

Meanwhile, Bryan Reynald was chilling in his room, the soft hum of his PC fan and faint sounds of 16-bit gunfire filling the space. He was playing ZAGE Duke Nukem, fully immersed in the chaos and carnage on screen. His fingers moved effortlessly over the keyboard as he took down digital enemies, but in the back of his mind, he was watching the clock. There was something even more exciting tonight—the upcoming WWF match.

This wasn't just any regular match. It was a big one. Randy "Macho Man" Savage versus Rick "The Dragon" Steamboat—a showdown of legends, one of those matchups that glued fans to their screens. Bryan grinned wide, feeling the anticipation bubble in his chest. He'd been looking forward to it all week. He leaned back in his chair, snacks nearby, already feeling the adrenaline of the bell ringing and the crowd roaring.

Suddenly, just as a pre-show segment began, something strange appeared at the bottom of the TV screen. A quick flicker—blink and you'd miss it—but Bryan caught it. A black bar of code flashed briefly, showing "L*GM4."

His eyebrows shot up. "L1GM4?!" he blurted aloud, eyes narrowing at the screen. "Isn't that the secret code used across tons of ZAGE games as an easter egg?"

His thoughts raced. That could only mean one thing.

"Wait—does that mean ZAGE is doing a collaboration with WWF? No freakin' way!" he exclaimed, his heart pounding with excitement. "Damn! When is it happening?!"

He immediately paused his game, eyes fixed on the TV, scanning for more clues. Whatever was happening, it was big—and Bryan could feel something legendary was coming.

Then Bryan Reynald watched the match, and it was just as thrilling and intense as he had hoped. The crowd roared, the commentary was electric, and the action in the ring was nonstop. Randy "Macho Man" Savage came out on top, delivering a signature elbow drop that sealed the win, and Bryan couldn't stop cheering. It was everything he wanted and more.

But the moment the post-match interview ended, he scrambled back to his PC. He had one thing on his mind—the strange code from earlier. He opened the ZAGE forum and typed in the keyword: "L1GM4."

Sure enough, there it was. A thread had already exploded with posts. The topic: "L1GM4 in WWF broadcast—Hidden ZAGE Reference?" Fans were speculating like crazy. Some thought it was a teaser for a new ZAGE crossover game. Others believed Zaboru himself might debut in the WWF. The theories ranged from the wild to the completely absurd, but every post shared one thing—hype.

Bryan leaned in, reading every comment with wide eyes. He felt a rush of adrenaline, like he was part of something historic in the making. He grinned to himself. "I can't wait—HAHAHA!"

He didn't know what ZAGE was planning with WWF, or how deep this collaboration would go—but one thing was certain. Whatever it was, he wasn't going to miss a second of it.
