The door of his office slowly pushed open and none other than Althea walked in. Despite being asked, she still seemed unwilling to leave the mansion.
"Fane…"
The man wouldn't look at her. He was unmoving, in pure distress, as if he were suffocating on that spot. He was losing himself.
Althea swallowed and slowly approached him. She stood in front of him, but even then he wasn't looking at her. His eyes were distant.
"I'm sorry…" she said and lifted her hands to his face, cupping it for a second, before wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him down to hug him, his face buried in her neck.
For a second, everything seemed fine, but then, Keelion suddenly shoved her so roughly, that she grunted in pain, falling backward with a heavy thud, a pained expression on his face.
"Don't touch me." he rapidly shook his head at her. "D-don't touch me."
"Keelion?" Althea was confused. What was wrong with him?
