Yan Mo glanced at his surroundings in a daze. He had always thought that even though people gave him face because of his uncle, he had his own merits so he didn't hesitate to leave.
However the events of the past year left Yan Mo numb. People who used to flatter him turned him away and those who curried favor with him ran away the moment they found out there were no benefits of following him anymore.
