Shen Jin already noticed he was being followed but since it was Fu Ling, he didn't say anything. He figured maybe the young man was heading back to his room as well, but there was a small voice in his heart telling him that wasn't it. He couldn't help but feel slightly apprehensive.
When Fu Ling's voice sounded, he was more relieved than worried. At least now he would know what the other person was thinking.
Shen Jin opened his door and stepped inside making way for Fu Ling to come in before closing the door and moving to the side.
Fu Ling went in and looked around habitually. Shen Jin's room was like a copy of his own with the same small bed, cleanly folded blankets and unadorned walls. Apart from the desk at the corner, there was nothing else. He quickly lost interest.
Carefully lifting a metal chair to avoid it scraping on the floor, Fu Ling sat down and leaned back before assessing Shen Jin.
"I'm going to ask you something and you have to be honest with me."
