Chapter 234 - A Mass Lies Ahead

The pedestal, or perhaps it was more fitting to call it a monolith, stood resolute in the dim glow of the sanctum, its surface etched with ancient reverence.

It was clear these structures were crafted to honor past figures, legends or deities long faded into the annals of the Monster World. Yet, as Morgana gazed upon them, a shiver ran through her serpentine form, her violet eyes narrowing with unease. She tilted her head, her whisper's echoed as she spoke, almost to herself.

"Why do I feel so... suppressed before these things? No, what are they, anyway?"

Her question hung in the air, unanswered, as her gaze drifted to another statue, this one even more unsettling than the last.
