The fifth place "Les Miserables" has a cumulative box office of 5.011 million US dollars, and a box office of 5.011 million US dollars this weekend.

....

The number of screens for the second weekend of the release of "The Man from Earth" increased to 1,687. Although the box office data of a single show dropped significantly, the box office of the second weekend has exceeded the total box office of the first week. It has basically booked the box office champion of this week in advance. How many weeks it can stay on the list in the future depends on the new movies that come out.

While Rowan was eating breakfast at the dining table and looking carefully at the box office data sent by the company, there was a knock on the door. When he opened the door, he saw that it was his assistant Emma.

"Emma, you're here so early. Have you had breakfast? Would you like some?" Rowan said, pointing at the food on the table.

"No boss I m here because miss Mary asked me to inform you that the writer Rick Riordian is excited to meet you and wants to know when you are free. And I also brought different newspapers for you to read their reviews of the movie" Emma stated

"Well let's schedule the meeting in the afternoon, anyways now that you are here come and eat with me I made too much for myself and can't finish it and since I am shifting to my mansion I can't bring it with me so it will be wasted." Rowan said with a smile as he took the newspapers from Emma.

"Okay, boss!" Emma said as she sat on the table and started placing the food on her plate.

While Emma started eating Rowan grabbed one of the newspapers and started to read it.

The second weekend box office of "The Man from Earth" was 12.31 million dollars, which can be said to have basically locked in the box office championship of this week. The director of this film, Rowan Stark, is only 18 years old. It can be said that at least among the new Hollywood directors this year, Rowan Stark is the best new director in terms of box office performance. ------------------------------------------------------------------- "The New York Times"

If last Friday's reports on Rowan were mainly limited to Western media near Los Angeles, now with reports from Eastern and Central media such as The New York Times, in just one day, Rowan Stark's name is no longer just famous at the University of Southern California like it was last week. Now all of North America knows that an 18-year-old talented actor and director has appeared in Hollywood who is also an academian.

There are those who praise Rowan, and of course there are those who mock him.

"The Man from Earth" is a boring movie. If I want to see a performance with this kind of dialogue, I should choose to watch a play instead of a movie. This matter is just a clown movie that hypes up the director's age and makes the audience pay for it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The Washington Post

"The Man from Earth" is a very novel movie. If you are a curious audience, you can go and watch it. Many of the questions in the movie are worth thinking about. But it is just an ordinary work. It can only be said that the 18-year-old new director Rowan is a man with ideas. ------------------------------"Chicago Sun-Paper" Film Critic: Roger Ebert.

In the following days, major North American media outlets published their opinions on the film "The Man from Earth". Even Roger Ebert, one of the representative film critics, commissioned a newspaper to publish his opinion on the film. However, Rowan did not care about these things anymore. He rejected all the interviews that came over the phone and even changed his mobile phone. He told a few close people about his new mobile phone number and gave his old phone directly to his assistant, Emma, and told her that this phone was only for work and external contacts. He would filter out all non-work related calls. If it was personal matters, his relatives and friends would call his new mobile phone number directly.

Regardless of whether the media praises him as a genius or ridicules his works as worthless and relying on hype, Rowan knows that if his next movie fails, the media that praise him may be the first to attack him. If he continues to successfully ridicule him, the media may be the first to send him praise reports. So again, the works are the key to a director's success.

The extensive coverage of "The Man From Earth" by the North American media has made the film's popularity spread rapidly. Regardless of whether it is good or bad, there are always some people who didn't know about the film before, who paid attention to it. But unlike ordinary audiences who only pay attention to the film, in addition to Hollywood film companies paying more attention to Jason, another group of companies that are deeply related to Hollywood also pay attention to Rowan. They are Hollywood talent agencies. But for that he had Mary Acker and her Flame Agency to deal with and he didn't bother to meet them.

Since the news started circulating in the whole country he got. Alot of calls from his colleagues as well now those were the people he couldn't ignore. Director John Woo and Producer Terence Chang called and congratulated him and also mentioned that he wanted to co-operate with him in the future and Rowan accepted it politely after all they are the people who gave him the big break.

Nicolas Cage also called him congratulating him for beating his movie in the weekend box office. Yes, City of Angels is Nicolas Cage's work and he wasn't upset about getting beaten by his little brother after all his movie has been in the theaters for almost a month and getting beaten by your little brother isn't a shameful thing. Rowan also smiled at his words and promised to call him for the celebration party of the movie.

Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks also called him and congratulated him politely on releasing such a movie and winning the weekend box office championship.

Then Catherine Zeta Jones, Anthony Hopkins, Jessica Alba, Kate Beckinsale and others who have worked with him or slept with him called one after another congratulating him.

It was already noon when he finally got free from his phone.

"okay let's go and meet the future creter of Percy Jackson series"
