Jace shook his head and a wave of energy spread out from him. His body tensed as he spread his control over the entire area. The gang members froze in place but their facial expressions still changed. "What the hell!" "Hey what is going on!" "I can't move my body!" "Me neither!" The gang members began screaming.
"No you cannot." Jace chuckled. "I am restraining you so you do not get yourself killed." Jace told them as he felt the mental strain of restricting the electrical impulses of over twenty people. This was a new trick he had been developing recently. He did not get a chance to use it when they raided the republic's capital.
But now that he was using it he realized he should hold back on using it too much. Jace waved his hand at the ones along one side. A second later several light blue lasers raced out of the garage and hit them. Blue electricity arced across their body and they fell unconscious so Jace released his control over them and it got easier to control the others.
