Liam finally turned away from the wall and looked toward Irina. His expression had become much calmer now, almost strangely relaxed considering that there was someone hiding outside their house. "Irina, come sit down."
She stared at him in disbelief, then glanced toward the window again. "But you just said there is someone outside."
Liam smiled as though that wasn't particularly important. "There is."
Irina's eyebrows pulled together. "And you're telling me to sit down?" Liam nodded. "They're no threat." She stared at him for another moment, trying to understand what exactly was going through his head. "What do you mean they're no threat? Shouldn't we at least find out who sent them?" Liam walked toward the center of the room and sat down, looking completely at ease. "Eldric sent him."
Irina froze.
"Eldric?"
Liam nodded.
"I knew it."
