Azazel only smiled, his eyes softening as he glanced toward Cassy, who was happily running back into the house after bidding him goodbye.

"I will make time for her," Azazel replied, his tone steady and reassuring. He turned around to walk out of the house, his steps unhurried, and Ava followed closely from behind.
