Chapter 432 - Kazekage Ninja-Chapter 69: Is This the Highest Mountain in the World? (4)

As the reincarnation of Asura, Hashirama Senju's talent was simply off the charts. From the time he was a child, he outclassed every ninja of his generation—including the legendary prodigy Madara Uchiha. Words couldn't even begin to capture the scale of his genius.

While everyone else was sweating bullets just to speed up their hand seals, Hashirama would simply press his palms together—and whatever jutsu he called out would appear instantly. How do you even compete with that? You don't. It's not even a contest.

Let's take Madara for example.

Madara lost his little brother, swapped eyes, put himself through hell—physically and mentally—just to awaken the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, so he could wield Susanoo at will. And what did all that get him? Hashirama hit him with a single Wood Release: Deep Forest Emergence, and Susanoo was completely shut down.

When Madara unleashed his Perfect Susanoo, Hashirama just clapped his hands—bam!—and summoned a wooden giant every bit as massive.

Madara, refusing to admit defeat, brought out the Nine-Tails to fight Hashirama. The beast fired off a Tailed Beast Bomb, only for the wooden giant to catch it midair and slam it right back.

Then Madara armored the Nine-Tails in Susanoo, unleashing the infamous "Calamity of the Tailed Beast." Hashirama responded with another hand clap, instantly entered Sage Mode, and summoned a Thousand-Armed Buddha that dwarfed even the Nine-Tails. One combo of Drunken Dream Arhat Fist, and the Susanoo-clad Nine-Tails was wrecked beyond recognition.

Madara's journey was nothing but setbacks. After leaving Konoha, he did nothing but train, day in and day out. Every bit of his growth was earned, step by step. But Hashirama? He was buried in paperwork as Hokage, barely had time to train—and still kept Madara under his thumb.

It's like that one guy back in school: you're burning the midnight oil, grinding for every grade, while some dude just goofs off, naps in class, and still aces every test. (Seriously, I had a classmate like that—always sleeping, never studying, but somehow pulling 600+ scores and getting into Shanghai Jiao Tong University.)

So even facing this Edo Tensei version of Hashirama, Jinghang didn't dare get careless. He had to give it everything he had.

Hashirama's Wood Release was all about overwhelming scale and destructive power.

As the wooden giant lumbered forward, thick vines surged from every direction, threatening to bury the Iron Giant in a living sea of trees.

The Iron Giant shifted forms again—eight arms now, four facing forward, four backward. The short axes were gone, replaced by high-speed spinning blade wheels.

(If you've seen the Chinese Jaeger "Crimson Typhoon" from Pacific Rim, picture that—only even more overpowered.)

Tree-cutting just got turbocharged. Jinghang raised two fingers on his right hand, covered his left eye, and sent an iron sand eyeball floating up behind the wooden giant's head.

With that, Jinghang basically had 360-degree vision—no more blind spots, no matter how many vines came at him.

As his speed ramped up, the spinning blades started outpacing the growth of the vines. At first, he just managed to keep the Iron Giant's arms clear, but soon he was pushing back, launching a counterattack on the wooden giant itself.

Hashirama immediately caught on. His eyes locked onto Jinghang inside the Iron Giant's "control room." The wooden giant's hands shot out, aiming to crush the Iron Giant's head.

Oh, you're trying to squish me now? Not worried about making your granddaughter a widow, old man?

Jinghang didn't hesitate. From the Iron Giant's neck, he sprouted another blade-wielding arm and slashed at the wooden giant's hands.

Wait—what the hell? It wouldn't cut through!

What kind of wood was this? It was harder than steel, nothing like those vines. The sound it made was pure metal-on-metal.

Well, duh—this thing could block a Tailed Beast Bomb barehanded. No way iron sand alone was gonna break it.

Jinghang quickly pulled a marked kunai from his pouch and hurled it above the wooden giant's arm.

In the blink of an eye, Jinghang teleported to the wooden giant's wrist, and the massive Iron Giant collapsed into a mountain of iron sand.

"Super Great Ball Magnet Release: Rasenshuriken!"

Jinghang, still airborne, spun up a massive Rasengan streaked with black Magnet Release markings.

He hurled it straight at the wooden giant's wrist.

This "ball" was something Jinghang had developed before the battle. Naruto had used a version of it in the manga, but the real inventor was Shukaku. (No question—Shukaku is the most creative Tailed Beast.)

Jinghang had even gone to the Sand Temple and buttered up Shukaku for guidance, just to master this technique.

The trick was fusing Magnet Release chakra into the Rasengan at just the right ratio—easier said than done. 80/20 split, they said, but what's 80 and what's 20? You can't exactly measure chakra with a beaker. It took trial after trial—Jinghang failed countless times before he finally got the hang of it.

This "ball" packed insane destructive power, piercing and sealing with Magnet Release. Jinghang had even mixed iron sand inside to make it deadlier.

The "ball" ground into the wooden giant's wrist, unleashing a teeth-grinding screech that echoed across the battlefield. Every ninja nearby clapped their hands over their ears.

This time, it worked. The wooden giant's hand was severed clean at the wrist, and the "ball" didn't stop—Jinghang sent it spinning toward the other hand.

Hashirama's eyes widened. His opinion of Jinghang instantly shot up.

That move—wasn't it a lot like a Tailed Beast Bomb?

Did this kid figure it out on his own?

Impressive. No wonder Danzo called him the top ninja of this era.

Even in the Warring States, surrounded by monsters, this would've been top-tier.

Yeah. He's worthy of being my granddaughter's husband.

Jinghang, of course, had no clue about Hashirama's internal approval. He planted his feet, sprang high into the air, and hurled the "ball" straight at the wooden giant's head—aiming right at Hashirama.

"Wood Release: Wood Dragon Technique!"

The wooden dragon, which had been draped over the giant's shoulder, suddenly came alive. With a thunderous roar, it lunged at the "ball."

Crack! It caught the "ball" in its jaws.

The dragon coiled its massive body around the sphere, squeezing tighter and tighter. With a deafening explosion, wood splinters flew, dust billowed, and both dragon and "ball" vanished in a burst of chakra energy.

Here it comes!

Hashirama's senses flared—Jinghang was closing in fast.

Sure enough, a kunai shot out of the smoke. In the next instant, Jinghang appeared right in front of Hashirama, launching a vicious whip kick.

Hashirama was ready. He dodged back two steps, then spun into a perfect roundhouse.

Jinghang didn't retreat. He dropped his center of gravity and charged, ducking under the sweep, closing in tight. He lowered his shoulder, then surged upward—actually hoisting Hashirama's leg and flipping him over.

Hashirama didn't panic. Using Jinghang's momentum, he twisted into a rough backflip, landed, and immediately charged again.

Jinghang flicked another kunai with a reverse grip, but this time Hashirama didn't dodge—he kept coming.

Suddenly, Jinghang felt a chill run up his spine. Instinctively, he raised his arm to guard his neck.

Just in time—a brutal whip kick slammed into his forearm, the force so intense he almost felt his bone crack.
