Among all the Hermit Tribes, the Bloodclaw Tribe is the most powerful one, and there were many reasons for this, such as their cultivation techniques, their bloodlines, and a few other things.
However, the most important reason was because of their ability to create the Blood Beasts.
Individually, these Blood Beasts can't defeat a cultivator who has the same strength as them; however, when they are in a group, they can go against someone who is more powerful than them.
Moreover, they are considered lifeless beasts similar to puppets as they are artificially created using the blood of the Spirit Beasts, and thus, they can be stored in the Storage Rings.
Of course, just because the Bloodclaw Tribe has the ability to create the Blood Beasts doesn't mean they can casually use them. Creating a single one would already cost a lot.
Thus, the army of the Blood Beasts was mostly carried by the selected individuals, and they were to be used only in critical situations.
