Looking at the scene where Ethan was not only killed but even devoured by Petrik, Cedric, and the other Evolved Spirit Beasts were shocked.
'No-no…Master asked me to trust him.'
'He was able to revive me…so, he must have the ability to revive himself.'
'That's it.'
Cedric was doubtful; however, he remembered Ethan's earlier words and thought about his ability to revive others to calm himself.
'But, why did he kill himself?'
However, what Cedric didn't understand was why Ethan would sacrifice himself.
Ethan might have the ability to revive, but there must be a reason to willingly die in Petrik's hands, right?

Cedric believed that if Ethan wanted to escape, he could easily do it; however, since Ethan died in Petrik's hands, there must be a reason, and he thought about it.
