"My wish is…."
Korgak looked at Ethan's masked face and gritted his teeth before wishing, "Teleport me to the safest location in this world."
"What?"
Hearing Korgak's wish, Ethan was genuinely shocked because, with everything that had happened, he was expecting something more… aggressive.
Something like:
'Give me the strength to kill my enemy.'
Or even,
'Kill my enemy for me.'
But instead, Korgak wished… to escape.
'Why? After all the things I have done to him, after everything he lost, why would he run now?'
For a moment, even Ethan couldn't understand the reasoning.
However, when he looked at Korgak's expression again—those clenched fists, the veins bulging on his forehead, the unrelenting glare through gritted teeth—Ethan realised something.
'He's not running because he's afraid of death. He's running because he's determined.'
