After that, a Puppet Master would refine their bodies step by step—removing their demonic essence, tempering their blood, and restructuring their meridians to accept spirit arrays.
Only after all of this could their flesh be fused with puppet materials.
Even with the most skilled Puppet Masters of the Greenfire Sect, the process was extremely risky.
A single misstep during refinement would cause the Night Demon's body to collapse, rendering the entire effort worthless.
The Puppet Master's fees alone were sky-high, and that was before considering the cost of rare materials needed to stabilise the puppet's body.
