Chapter 46: Collecting Rations
Xiao Yao went to the Jade Swan Restaurant to get their usual daily rations. Ban Shanzuo was outside the restaurant, in his rocking chair, relaxing as Luo Ning gave him a soothing massage. He smiled deeper into the chair, purring like a cat and enjoying the massage. They didn't have any customers today since it was still early in the morning, so Ban Shanzuo asked Luo Ning to give him a massage and heal his old bones.
"Ning'er, your hands really are magical. I can feel slowly, all my fatigue are getting swept away," Ban Shanzuo said as he relaxed, breathing slowly, causing Luo Ning to let out a soft giggle.
Xiao Yao was downcast ever since Tang Feng (Luo Zeng) refused to help him save his sister, so he had been begging Luo Ning to help convince her brother to help him.
"Greetings senior, junior sister Ning," he said, as he got closer to them, greeting them with clasped palm and fist extended, his face radiant as a wide smile formed on his face.
