For the several law enforcement departments on the river, they've not only welcomed the blossoming of spring but also the once-a-year battle against illegal eel fry fishing!
As in previous years, city leaders in charge of agriculture and transportation have summoned the City Agricultural Bureau, Port Supervision Bureau, Water Police Division, Changhang Navigation Police Branch, and the Agricultural Bureau heads of all districts and counties along the river to a meeting. The meeting was to mobilize joint efforts in combating illegal eel fry fishing behaviors, protecting national fishery resources, and ensuring the safe and smooth sailing of Changhang transport.
Deputy Director Liu Guanglong from the Changhang Bureau attended the meeting at the city government and reported back to the director on the meeting situation once he returned.
