Galand looked down at the figure below him with genuine surprise on his face. The blade in his hand still trembled from the sheer force of their impact.
"I truly underestimated the power of an S-ranked talent. This is amusing," he thought. However, Galand quickly noticed the slight crack in Kim's shield. It was powerful, yes, but this indicated that he still had a chance in a fight against the vice president.
A "chance" was better than nothing at all.
Not that he wanted a fight to break out between the two parties, but if that were to happen, this was a good sign.
"I had to create this shield on a whim. I didn't fortify it properly... Thankfully, it held out until the end," Kim thought, letting out a sigh of relief.
