After finishing the arrangements on the Dark Portal planet, Rhodes, along with Mefilas and Tartarus, set off for another planet of utmost importance to Rhodes.
Rhodes' territory harbored many secrets. To preserve these secrets, Mefilas used his overwhelming psychic powers to cast a mist-shrouded barrier over the area.
Most of the residents within Rhodes' domain were people relocated from other Imperial hive worlds.
The Imperial population grew rapidly; in just a few years, a planet could become overcrowded.
Thus, the locals had no choice but to accept the Empire's immigration policies: when a new world was discovered, it would be turned into an agri-world, a forge world, a hive world, or a mining world as needed.
This was to meet the Empire's massive demands. Rhodes' territory was exempt from tithes, with agri-worlds ensuring the food supply. Still, Rhodes had Mefilas manage population control.
With abundant food, the human population could grow geometrically—strict control was a must.
For the sake of certain secrets, there were several planets in Rhodes' domain of exceptional importance.
This planet could have become an agri-world or a hive world, but under Rhodes' orders, it was turned into an Ork world, strictly governed by Mefilas's psychic barrier.
The planet was slightly smaller than Holy Terra, but larger than Mars, with oceans, grasslands, and an atmosphere—an ideal location.
To ensure this planet's habitability, Mefilas specifically placed it under a red dwarf in a star system.
Stellar systems in the universe are rarely single-starred like the Solar System. Many are binary or even trinary systems. Red dwarfs or yellow dwarfs are common, and this Ork warlord's world orbits a red dwarf. Apart from this Ork world, there were no other habitable planets nearby.
Rhodes was very satisfied with Mefilas's choice—this planet must not be discovered by the Empire. Not even the Emperor or Guilliman knew that Rhodes was raising an Ork warlord here.
This Ork warlord was of great use to Rhodes!
Soon, the trio landed on the planet. Zetton was already waiting atop a mountain. Looking out, the planet was covered in green-skinned Orks.
But these Orks seemed to be under the influence of a powerful psychic force, methodically forging equipment of all kinds.
Even nearby barren planets had been converted into mines by Orks, who were busy extracting ore.
"Master, welcome," Zetton immediately bowed to Rhodes.
"What's the situation with the Ork Warboss Superbeast?" Rhodes asked.
"Master, this Ork warlord is under my strict control. Even the new Orks bred from his blood will obey his orders.
Thanks to the Battlenizer, I can control all these Orks. I'm having them forge weapons and build ships now," Zetton said.
He had been a Reionic for over half a year now, and this Ork warlord Superbeast had grown into a terrifying colossus eighty meters tall.
Thanks to his Superbeast traits, he could change size at will, usually maintaining a height of five meters while ruling over all other Orks on the planet.
All these Orks were descended from this warlord's blood.
With the Reionic Battlenizer's control and Superbeast-enhanced DNA-encoded commands, they retained some traits of the Old Ones' creations and learned to obey orders.
To be honest, in terms of raw war potential, Orks even surpassed Tyranids—far beyond what humans could hope to match.
But Orks' biggest flaw was their inability to unite; even with a powerful warlord, they usually fought independently.
If all the Orks of Octarius united and waged war on the Imperium, the scale would rival the Great Crusade—the Imperium would have to respond with full force.
"Is security an issue? Have you noticed any signs of betrayal from him or his Orks?" Rhodes' top concern was the safety of the Ork warlord Superbeast.
If a Superbeast-level Ork warlord broke free of his control, it would be disastrous!
This Ork warlord's combat power far exceeded that of a Primarch, especially one fused with a cosmic phantom beast's gene. With the Reionic's special powers and the Superbeast enhancement, this Ork warlord was terrifying.
Currently, only Tartarus and the Dark Giant Daram could utterly crush this Ork warlord.
Even the Slaneesh Assassin and the fully-strengthened Zetton might not be able to match him.
"Please rest assured, Master. I have this under strict control. The Reionic's power can completely control monsters—as long as I'm not killed, I'll always be the master of these Orks!" said Zett.
The Reionic's control was absolute—as long as he remained a Reionic and held the Battlenizer, the Ork warlord could not break free.
"How many Orks are there now?" Rhodes asked.
"Master, this Superbeast warlord now commands ten Ork warlords under him—giants four or five meters tall, with formidable combat power.
Even their physical prowess alone can crush the Custodes. There are over ten thousand Ork bosses, with hundreds of thousands of bigger bosses.
Additionally, there are countless Mekboys, Big Meks, Painboyz, Shoota Boyz, Kommandoz, and other kinds of Boyz. The total force is two hundred million, with more being born daily.
The Superbeast-level Orks are vastly stronger than regular Orks—any one of them can easily defeat two standard Boyz.
There are also thousands of Weirdboyz, capable of all sorts of psychic attacks.
I have put them through strict training, so they won't explode themselves on the battlefield anymore," Zett explained.
"Very good. Keep growing the force toward a billion or more. The planet should be able to support several billion Orks, but even now, you can launch a pretty decent crusade," Rhodes said.
Long ago, Rhodes had Zett run experiments to see if Orks bred from the Superbeast warlord's blood would generate system coins when they killed Tyranids, Orks, or even Chaos Daemons.
The result greatly satisfied Rhodes—these Orks, connected to his system, were successfully recorded in the system's data.
All lives killed by these Orks would be converted into Rhodes' system coins. Upon discovering this, Rhodes had Zett begin mass-producing troops on this world.
For the Imperium to train a single qualified soldier—without using cloning technology—took twenty years to raise a child to adulthood, then train them.
But Orks only needed a few months—once born, they could fight.
Rather than have them sit idle, why not launch a great WAAAGH? It would satisfy both the Orks' lust for battle and Rhodes' need for system coins.
"Master, I have built several hundred realspace battleships—enough to carry tens of millions of Orks. The Ork horde has a unique WAAAGH field.
This lets them travel through space without any energy loss, and also travel safely through the Warp," Zett said.
Orks were truly a bizarre race, with incredibly powerful abilities—but they needed sufficient numbers.
"No need for long Warp voyages. In the past, it was necessary, but now it isn't at all," Rhodes smiled, glancing at Tartarus.
With Tartarus here, distance was meaningless in the universe—Rhodes could have this Ork army strike anywhere, at any time.
"You're right, Master. With an Absolutian, distance really isn't a concept in the universe," Zett smiled.
"Prepare to mobilize fifty million Orks. The Ork Superbeast warlord himself will not participate—have his subordinate warlords lead the most elite fifty million Ork Boyz to raid the Octarius sector," Rhodes said.
The Tyranids and Rhodes were mortal enemies, so he could not let them devour the Orks of Octarius so easily.
The Octarius conflict started even before Abaddon's 13th Black Crusade, but ended during the Indomitus Crusade!
Currently, both sides were fiercely fighting. If a fresh Ork force joined now, the Tyranids would be in for a real treat.
It would disgust the Tyranids, while letting Rhodes collect system coins from their deaths—a win-win!
"Understood, Master. I'll assemble the Ork horde right away—these Boyz are extremely eager for battle," Zett chuckled.
