The room fell silent for a moment. Aryan couldn't find the words. He understood how serious Eron was about him, yet the fear of being hurt again held him back.
"I understand your concern…" Eron finally broke the silence. "I'm not asking you to accept my feelings right away. But… can't you at least give me a chance to win your heart? I'll spend my whole life proving that my heart only belongs to you."
Seeing the desperation in Eron's eyes, Aryan couldn't bring himself to refuse. He saw a reflection of his own past in him. "Fine… but you have to promise you'll never hide anything from me again."
"Yes…" Eron agreed immediately and pulled Aryan into a hug. "I'll never hide anything from you. I promise."
"How was your life back in Germany? Did your father treat you well? Did you make any friends or was it the same there…?" Aryan asked, pushing him back slightly—not fully forgiving him yet, but still concerned about his life.
