Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: The Endless Realm of Tiān Wújiè

Chaos's creation stood as an endless, unfathomable expanse known as Tiān Wújiè, the Boundless Heaven. Vast beyond mortal comprehension, it stretched infinitely. Mountains rose like jagged spires into the skies, their towering forms suffused with qi, while oceans swallowed light in their abyssal depths. Forests blanketed the horizon in endless green, pulsing with life and energy. The tallest peak, Yǒnghéng Zhī Guān, was an unscalable monument of chaos. No being—neither dragon nor mortal—could ever hope to ascend its unforgiving heights.

Across Tiān Wújiè, the pulse of Chaos continued to shape its creation. The rivers of molten fire carved paths through barren wastelands, and the qi that suffused the land gave birth to diverse beings. Tiān Wújiè was alive, a realm as vast as it was unknowable, its lands a thousand times larger than the mortal world we know.

---

From the depths of the oceans emerged the Hēiyú Rén, abyssal fishfolk. Sleek and shadowy, they commanded the abyssal qi of the seas, cunning and elusive.

In the skies danced the Yǔ Jīnglíng, Feathered Spirits, beings of the wind and qi. Their shimmering wings reflected the light of the oceans, embodying grace and freedom.

The volcanic plains birthed the Yán Mó, massive stone demons with molten veins coursing through their rocky bodies. They moved with unyielding might, enforcing their dominion over the fiery wastelands.

From the verdant forests came the Línghuà Zhī Yāo, floral sprites. Though small and delicate, they possessed terrifying control over the flora, using their abilities to manipulate the vast qi-infused jungles.

---

The dragons of Tiān Wújiè remained unmatched in their might and pride. Among them, the Void Dragons—commanders of darkness and void qi—were the strongest. Capable of immense destruction and transformation into human form upon adulthood, they stood as the apex beings of the realm.

Yet the dragons, for all their power, were not infallible. The Flameborn, or Fire Dragons, scorched the volcanic regions, exuding destructive might. The Storm Dragons ruled the skies with unrelenting tempests. But none could compare to the Void Dragons, whose very presence commanded reverence and fear.

The Void Dragons were led by Xuán Yǐng, the most powerful of their kind, who decreed that balance in the realm must be preserved. Beneath Xuán Yǐng were other Void Dragons, including Xuè Míng, a proud and ambitious she-dragon whose cunning was matched only by her ferocity.

---

Xuán Yǐng stood at the edge of Yǒnghéng Zhī Guān, its crimson eyes reflecting the light of the stars. "The seas grow restless. A darkness stirs in the abyss."

Xuè Míng stepped forward, her shadowed form rippling with restrained power. "You wish me to investigate?"

"Yes. Ensure the Hēiyú Rén do not disrupt the balance. Their numbers grow too quickly, and their ambition is dangerous," Xuán Yǐng commanded.

Xuè Míng bowed her horned head, her voice calm yet determined. "It shall be done."

With a mighty leap, she ascended into the skies before plunging into the ocean depths.

---

The abyss of Tiān Wújiè's oceans was a place of crushing darkness and immeasurable pressure. Xuè Míng, her form blending with the void, descended without fear. The qi of the depths pressed against her, but she moved forward, undeterred.

The Hēiyú Rén awaited her arrival, their dark forms shifting in the shadows. Their cunning minds had crafted a trap. They wove illusions of abyssal qi, creating false currents and flickering lights to disorient her.

Xuè Míng growled, her voice vibrating through the water. "Reveal yourselves, or face obliteration."

The illusions faltered but did not vanish. From every side, the Hēiyú Rén attacked. Their concentrated abyssal qi struck against Xuè Míng's defenses. She retaliated with void qi, obliterating scores of her enemies, but their numbers were overwhelming.

As the battle raged, Xuè Míng's energy began to wane. Though she was far superior in strength, the endless swarm of Hēiyú Rén took its toll. Sensing her vulnerability, the Hēiyú Rén launched a final, desperate assault.

Their abyssal qi surged as a concentrated wave, crashing into Xuè Míng with unimaginable force. Her roar of defiance echoed through the abyss, but even her might could not hold against the combined power. The void qi around her flickered, and she was forced to retreat.

---

Xuè Míng's shadowed form burst from the ocean's surface, her wings struggling to keep her aloft. Her wounds burned with abyssal qi, and her strength faltered.

She soared over the land, her vision blurred. Mountains and forests passed beneath her, but she could not maintain her flight. With a final, pained cry, she fell from the skies, her form crashing into a desolate forest at the edge of Tiān Wújiè.

The impact shook the land, creating a deep crater. Smoke and void qi rose into the air, obscuring her fallen form. Her location unknown, hidden from even her kin.

---

As Xuè Míng lay unconscious in her hidden crater, the vastness of Tiān Wújiè continued to teem with life and conflict. The lands stretched for thousands of li, their horizons obscured by shimmering qi. The forests were so vast that their edges could not be seen, and the oceans spanned far beyond the imagination of even the mightiest dragons.

Yǒnghéng Zhī Guān, the tallest mountain, stood as a monument to Chaos's will, its unscalable cliffs casting long shadows over the realm. In its presence, even the mightiest beings felt their insignificance.

---

Above it all, Chaos watched its creation evolve. It had not given life purpose or laws; it simply allowed the qi to flow, guiding the world with silent intent. The dragons ruled proudly, the new beings rose to challenge them, and the vast realm of Tiān Wújiè became a stage for endless conflict.

Xuè Míng's fall was no accident. Chaos had no memory, no plan, but its power wove threads of destiny through the realm. The Void Dragon's hidden location and survival would prove significant in ways no being could yet imagine.

In the Boundless Heaven, creation and conflict were one. The pulse of Chaos continued, shaping the realm in unknowable ways. This was only the beginning.
