We changed into swimming suits. Cassandra was a bit nervous to enter the water, she buried her feet deep into the sand, trying out possible ways to pull out of the situation . Of course, I wasn't having any of that. I walked right in front of her, gently pulling her by the hands towards the sea, closer to the water, and before she could try anything. She was in already.
We swam and played for hours till we got tired, she would giggle here and there or make gestures. I really think she's making progress. She felt so carefree, she happily scooped water in her hands and splash them on me, I would dramatically get wounded and return the gesture. She was so alive, so sweet and cheerful. If I could, I would take a photograph of this moment, making it a memory for myself.
She looked like she was having a lot of fun. We would take turns tuning after each other or dragging each other into the water.
It was magical. I thought.
