"I'm here myself to get her. Either you bring her out, or I'll search for her myself, and when I do see her, I'll put a bullet between your eyes!" I darkly threatened.
"Do whatever you want, but you won't find her here, Nikolai. Leave her be and return to your world! She doesn't belong to you or anyone for that matter. Stay the hell away from here!"
"Is that so?" I said, my voice dripping with calm menace as I slowly turned towards the source of the voice.
Andrew was standing at the entrance of the living room, looking confident but I could see the tension in his body. He had clearly hoped to avoid this confrontation, but now, with his anger boiling over, he seemed more determined to push me out.
"Listen, I don't want to be here either," I replied coldly, my eyes locking onto his. "But you seem to be under the delusion that you have some kind of control over the situation. I'm here for Cassandra, and I won't leave without her. So either you step aside, or I'll make you."
