------------
The idea of taking out Kaecilius prematurely is clearly unreliable, as Noah understood just by looking at Mordo, let alone the Ancient One. 'Killing one's own kind' is unacceptable; the outcome of such actions is probably similar no matter the world. So, Noah was just talking; he didn't show too much other intention, which relieved Mordo. If Noah really intended to act against Kaecilius, Mordo probably couldn't stop him. Although Kaecilius was constantly defying the Ancient One's orders, they were still fellow disciples, and Mordo naturally didn't want his brother to suffer such a misfortune.
However, he didn't know what Kaecilius's future held, nor did he know that Noah had indeed entertained such thoughts and plans. After chatting with Mordo for a few moments, Noah and Loki left. They were now heading towards the training grounds in the back, as Noah had just learned from Mordo that Nagini had brought that large group of Blood-Cursed Werewolves to Kamar-Taj.
"Honestly, that smoky-faced guy was really annoying before," Loki complained to Noah as they walked.
"Kaecilius? Yes, he's very annoying." Noah nodded indifferently. "I never liked him since childhood, and now he's even more... Never mind, why do you dislike him?"
"His attitude, it irritated me."
"Oh? Did he just ignore you? But it's not uncommon, because your level of power is very common in Kamar-Taj." Although Noah disliked Kaecilius, that didn't mean Noah would side with Loki. In fact, Loki's strength wasn't weak. Being a Frost Giant by nature, after he began training his ice powers, even without absorbing any, he had already slowly stepped through the door of the seventh tier. Unfortunately, his contact with Earth mages was limited, basically just Noah and Wong.
And while he had met some lesser mages after arriving at Kamar-Taj, with the Ancient One as a foundation, and then encountering Mordo and Kaecilius, he himself began to doubt his life. He didn't refute Noah's words because he knew there was no point in doing so. Besides, he was indeed startled by the deep heritage of Earth's mages, so there was no use in wasting words, but that guy who completely disregarded him just now...
"To be honest, that guy gave me a very evil feeling."
"Oh? For you, the God of Mischief, to call him evil, I almost feel like Kaecilius should thank you."
"I'm not kidding you. Although some of your powers are incredibly dark, you don't have that evil feeling. But that guy... he always gives me a bad feeling."
"Is that so..." Noah tilted his head. He suddenly felt that while Loki always seemed to have issues, this time he was absolutely right. The evil hidden within Kaecilius wasn't because he looked like Hannibal, but because he had probably truly come into contact with those wills through the high-dimensional dark powers and then succumbed to them.
Shaking his head, everyone had their own path; some things you just couldn't change. Noah was truly helpless about Kaecilius's situation; he could only watch Kaecilius walk this path step by step. If this guy, like Darth Vader or Snape, at least had a spiritual anchor, maybe he would have "whitewashed" like Mordo.
Chatting aimlessly with Loki, they soon arrived at the open space at the very back of Kamar-Taj. This area was now filled with tents, but the people living there seemed to be in low spirits, with many children only daring to sit by their tents. Even though there were no mages guarding the place, Noah could see that these people were very fearful.
But it was quite normal when you thought about it. They were Blood-Cursed Werewolves, arguably the lowest tier in the magical world, and they were now in Kamar-Taj, the pinnacle of the magical world. They would naturally feel an immense sense of constraint here. If it weren't for Noah seeking them out and offering to solve their problems, they probably wouldn't dare to come to this place their whole lives, and perhaps they wouldn't even have the right to be here.
"Oh my God! Is that His Excellency Fenrir?"
"It really is His Excellency Fenrir, he's finally here!"
"By the Sorcerer Supreme, has this day finally come?"
"..."
Noah and Loki's appearance immediately made the stagnant plaza a bit livelier. Noah smiled and greeted the ragged people, then walked directly towards Nagini's position. Nagini seemed to have heard the commotion; she quickly ran out.
"Noah, you're back?"
"Yes, I went to... uh, Asgard, and just returned." Loki rolled his eyes at that statement. Went to Asgard? What kind of joke was that? However, Loki had no intention of exposing Noah, because before they went to the parallel universe, Noah really had gone to Asgard.
"You've worked hard, Nagini," Noah smiled slightly at the woman who looked no different from before. "I never thought it would take so many years."
"It's alright, actually," Nagini shook her head. "Mainly, the population of Blood-Cursed Werewolves is relatively small, and everyone was hiding, so it was harder to find them."
"How many people are there here in total?"
"Not many, only... only five or six thousand."
Five or six thousand people? Noah glanced at the plaza and the tents, then nodded. These tents were products of the magical world, and Noah knew they were very spacious inside. The surprisingly small number of people, however, surprised Noah a bit. But Noah didn't dwell on this issue too much; the Blood-Cursed Werewolf population was probably not large to begin with.
It would be truly alarming if tens of thousands of them suddenly appeared, so Noah wasn't too disappointed.
Although the number was a bit small, Noah thought it was sufficient.
"Not bad," Noah smiled. "This number."
"I'm sorry, Noah," Noah was satisfied, but Nagini seemed less so. "There are still many places I haven't searched, so..."
"No, no, no, it's already very good," Noah waved his hand carelessly. "These people are enough. Everything needs to be done step by step, doesn't it?"
"Is that so?"
"Of course, and they don't need to wait much longer."
Indeed, they didn't need to wait much longer. Noah could take full responsibility for this matter. Although the number made Noah feel that it wasn't enough for all the mages of Kamar-Taj to practice on, Noah thought it was probably enough. Five or six thousand people distributed among the mages of Kamar-Taj would at least give many mages the opportunity to train.
Moreover, Mordo's level alone was sufficient, and if worst came to worst, Noah could bring Wong over to supervise, which wouldn't be a problem. One must know that Wong's current level was not low. Although he hadn't turned into a pure long-range artillery platform due to Noah's influence, he still maintained the traditions of Kamar-Taj. But his abilities in all aspects were very balanced. How could a near-eighth-tier mage like him not be able to do something Noah could do in his third year?
Having figured this out, Noah had no intention of staying here any longer. Although the people here seemed happy and enthusiastic to see Noah, Noah could clearly feel a hidden sense of oppression, perhaps from inferiority or fear. But Noah didn't want to dwell on either; in any case, these problems could probably all be solved within a year at most.
As for Nagini, this woman had been outside for so long, and Noah planned to ask her about her future plans.
"Plans?" Nagini tilted her head. "I feel like I'm better off here for now. As for the future, we'll see."
"Is that so? You're not planning to return to the Sanctum with us?" Noah rubbed his nose.
"Not for now. I'm afraid if I go back, they..."
"Alright, I understand. I'll help you resolve your future living arrangements." The living arrangement issue had to be solved. Although with spatial magic, it wasn't a difficult task for Noah. But the problem was that Noah felt it was better to keep such a promising small racial group in his own hands. The British wizarding world was quite large; he could easily tuck them into a few forests.
However, Noah didn't want to just send them off like that. The best option would be to be relatively close to cities for convenience of living, while also being close to nature for concealment.
Of course, this was no longer Noah's headache. With his status, he could easily throw such troublesome matters to the British Ministry of Magic. The current British Ministry of Magic was basically composed of his own people, and Noah thought it would be incredibly easy to handle things this way.
"Leaving already?" Loki, once again trailing behind Noah, complained speechlessly. "I thought you'd chat with that woman for a while longer."
"And then?" Noah looked at Loki strangely. "Nagini and I have known each other for almost twenty years. Many things don't need to be said for us to understand them, so why say so many useless things?"
"Shouldn't you first perform on the spot to boost their confidence, and then tell your friends to expedite the process? Oh, and shouldn't you tell them to record the changes?"
"..."
Noah glanced at Loki. So, this guy was thinking about these things. While he could understand this guy's eagerness, the problem was that such matters inherently required time. Waiting was inevitable; there was no rushing it. Loki noticed Noah's gaze and decisively stopped talking nonsense. "Where are we going now?
Back to your Sanctum?"
"Hmm," Noah nodded, but then he quickly rubbed his chin.
"Or perhaps a trip to the British Ministry of Magic."
"British Ministry of Magic?"
"Yes, and it's not just to help you. I plan to let them settle in the British Ministry of Magic in the future, so it'll be convenient for communication and research. See how good I am to you?"
"Well, thank you very much, but why do I feel like you're just planning to gather them up? Okay, I'm done talking.
I'll shut up."
"..."
