What Noah said sounded complicated.
But in simple terms, he wanted to bring Thor to a future parallel world.
And not just any world.
A world that looked almost identical to their own.
That alone was enough to instantly grab Thor and Loki's attention.
A future parallel world.
Which meant, in a sense, the future.
Even though they both knew that parallel universes had no direct connection to their own. Every choice created divergence. Every action led to a different outcome. The future was never fixed and never reliable.
Still.
Who wouldn't want a glimpse?
Even if it wasn't their future, it could still be used as a reference.
Thor and Loki exchanged glances.
They were tempted.
Very tempted.
Their hesitation wasn't about damaging that universe. If it changed, it changed. Their own world wouldn't necessarily be affected.
What bothered them was Noah himself.
He looked too serious.
This wasn't his usual tone.
It felt like something heavy was coming.
After a brief silence, Thor spoke. His voice was low.
"Why do you want to go to a future parallel universe?"
"This was confirmed back during the Battle of New York," Noah replied calmly. "An idiot accidentally slipped into our universe while searching for the Time Stone. By coincidence, he ran straight into my teacher."
Thinking of that green-skinned figure slumped in a chair with a hat over his face, Noah couldn't help but laugh.
That guy was spectacularly unlucky.
Running into the Ancient One was bad enough. Trying to snatch the Space Stone afterward was just asking for it.
Fortunately, his teacher didn't pursue the matter further.
Otherwise, that universe wouldn't have needed a snap.
It would've lost Banner-and half its population-right then and there.
Honestly, anyone would feel a little sympathy.
"What happened in that universe?" Thor asked, clearly intrigued.
Even Loki sat down properly.
"That universe reached around 2023," Noah said after thinking for a moment. "Asgard was destroyed. By your sister. Hela."
Thor froze.
"I did what?"
"You triggered Ragnarok," Noah continued evenly. "Killed her. Destroyed Asgard in the process."
Thor stared at him in disbelief, pointing at himself.
"I did that?"
"Of course," Loki snorted. "You're clearly unfit to rule Asgard."
"No need to worry," Noah added, glancing at Loki. "You were the one who deliberately took the key item needed to trigger Ragnarok. In other words, the two of you destroyed Asgard together-and killed Hela."
"What the hell?"
This time Loki felt it.
He never imagined he'd willingly agree to something like that.
But once Noah explained Hela's situation, both of them understood.
As long as she remained in Asgard, her power would continue to rise.
Eventually, she would reach peak tenth-tier.
At that point, nothing could stop her.
Ragnarok wasn't madness.
It was the only solution.
Their father had already chosen a new location for Asgard. That was why they made that choice.
"But that doesn't make sense," Thor suddenly said. "Putting everything else aside, my father died? He pretended to be weak, sure, but we all know his real condition."
That was the biggest difference between this universe and that one.
Because of Noah, Odin had stopped pretending.
With Noah helping raise his children, he had no reason to act frail.
"And even if Hela was terrifying," Thor continued, "she wouldn't have reached tenth-tier yet. With the Power Stone, Stormbreaker, and my own growth, I shouldn't have lost."
"Exactly," Loki added, narrowing his eyes. "And where were you? Did you die early? Or just choose not to interfere?"
"The Sorcerer Supreme of that world wasn't me," Noah said, spreading his hands. "It was someone named Strange. As for you, Thor-you didn't have Stormbreaker yet. And no Power Stone either."
"And our father?"
"He faked his death to train you. Then went to the realm of death to find your mother."
Both of them shot up instantly.
"Our mother died?!"
"Yes," Noah said calmly. "During the Dark Elves' invasion. She was killed protecting your girlfriend, Jane Foster."
"How could that-wait!" Thor suddenly frowned. "Didn't that Sorcerer Supreme tell us?"
"He wasn't Sorcerer Supreme yet," Noah replied. "And my teacher was preparing for divine transformation at the time. No one was ready."
Silence fell.
It was a tragedy.
And the fact that Noah wasn't the Sorcerer Supreme in that universe only deepened the confusion.
Same person.
Same origins.
Completely different paths.
After a long pause, Thor spoke again.
"What happened next? Asgard was destroyed... did everyone die?"
"No."
Thor exhaled in relief.
"But it wasn't much better," Noah continued. "All combat personnel died. And half of the remaining civilians died as well."
Thor nearly choked.
"What happened?"
"You met Thanos," Noah said simply, glancing at Loki. "And he wiped out half your people."
Thor slammed his fist onto the table.
Loki's expression stiffened.
"So what about us?" he asked slowly. "You once said that without meeting you, my ending wouldn't be good. Does that mean we both died?"
Noah smiled.
It was not a comforting smile.
Loki felt cold.
Thor did too.
"I'll say this," Noah said. "Your brotherly bond is absurdly strong. No matter how much you fight, Thor's most trusted person is you. And you would give everything for him."
Thor looked shaken.
Loki scoffed-but didn't deny it.
"Thor was nearly killed by Thanos," Noah continued. "At the critical moment, you stepped forward. You offered the Space Stone."
Loki swallowed.
"So I didn't just hand it over."
Noah raised an eyebrow.
Then nodded.
"You tried to assassinate him while offering it. But the you in that universe was weak. The current you could crush him easily. Let alone Thanos."
Loki's face darkened.
"So I died," he said flatly. "For this idiot?"
"Yes," Noah replied without hesitation. "You died saving your brother. Thanos kept to his rule-half only. Thor survived and was later rescued by Peter Quill and the others."
At that moment, Noah felt incredible.
Absolutely incredible.
The original plot of this world was already shattered beyond recognition. But nothing stopped him from spoiling the future of another universe.
Especially seeing Thor and Loki's expressions.
Shock.
Anger.
Silence.
Noah was thrilled.
Spoiling feels great once.
Spoiling nonstop?
That's even better.
