Mary and Serena were thinking about what was happening, and that was when they heard a sound, a sound that was made when something was moving at a very high speed.

A young boy materialised as if he had teleported there, but Serena knew that it was not actually teleportation. The boy's speed was too high, which appeared as if he had teleported there.
If Mary were as strong as she is, she would have perceived the boy long before he appeared in front of the running man.
As soon as the boy appeared, he smashed the man's face, knocking him out.
He then went to the man and first picked the watch that the man was wearing, "Hmm, just as I thought. You are sending signals when captured. No wonder the other was running faster than the previous two", the boy muttered.
The watch was blinking and making noise, which the man had forgotten to stop. He was rather busy running for his life than worrying about the alarm that alerted them about others being caught.
