Chapter 359 - Lord Stark Can Wait

WILOW-Ch.359: Lord Stark Can Wait

Riverrun Castle, Riverlands

POV of Domeric Bolton

"Immussilusca," Domeric whispered and conjured a giant hawk out of nowhere.

"I'm never getting tired of seeing a hawk coming out of your wand," Ygritte said from the bed.

The sight of her naked body barely being covered by the thin blanket made his cock twitch in response, but he controlled himself.

There was a war to be fought. Sex and pleasure could come later.

He took the letter and tied it around the hawk's legs.

Then he heard the sound of rustling clothes behind him before Ygritte climbed down from the bed and hugged him from behind.

"You're up early." She said, and he nodded.

"Needed to send a letter."

"To Lord Stark?" she asked, nuzzling her cheeks against his own.

"Yes." He replied, "Needed to tell him about the change of plans."

She paused and turned to look at him.

He could see the frown on her face even without looking at her.

"Change of plans?" she asked.

"Yes. The Lannisters are gathering another army outside Casterly Rock." He said, "I intend to destroy that army before it becomes a problem."

Ygritte turned his chair around with her enhanced strength and looked him in the eye. "Wouldn't it be better to defeat Tywin Lannister before doing anything else?" she asked. "You yourself told us that after defeating him, the Lannisters won't be a problem."

"That is true." He nodded, "Tywin never considered Tyrion his son, and Jamie is too busy burying his cock in his sister's cunt to care about the Westerlands. So yes, Tywin has no heir. And there are too many Lannisters who would love to see themselves as the Lord of Casterly Rock. And since Lord Kevan is not there, Lord Tywin's death would definitely cause a civil war amongst the Lannisters."

"So, shouldn't we be targeting Tywin instead of the new Lannister army?" Ygritte asked before she sat down on his lap.

He could feel her ass through the thin blanket, and that was more than a bit distracting.

"H… mmm… yeah. Wait… where was I?"

She giggled at him and pulled the blanket away from her. And he drank her naked body with a hungry gaze.

She gently took his chin and forced her to look her in the eyes. "You were about to tell me why you decided to change your plans."

He wrapped an arm around her naked waist and pulled her to him. "Because Casterly Rock has gold. Lots and Lots of gold."

"We have gold as well. Far more than them." She replied, "And you told me that Casterly Rock has never fallen before."

"It has also never been attacked by Giants wearing impenetrable armor. But this plan isn't just about me getting richer." He said.

"So, what is your purpose then?"

"I have multiple goals. First, if I defeat Tywin Lannister immediately, then the Baratheons will force the North to make a choice. We won't be able to use Tywin Lannister as an excuse in that situation."

"And you don't want to support one of the Baratheons in this war, especially when you want to build your own Empire," she said, climbing onto the chair and sitting on his lap.

"Exactly. It would be one of the best scenarios for me if the Baratheons fought amongst themselves, destroying each other's men, and one of them killed. And it would be even better if, by some chance, both of them withdrew from the Game of Thrones." He said.

"I see. What are your other goals?" she said now, slowly moving her hips in his lap.

"I need war achievements. Achievements that I can spread throughout Westeros with my newspaper, that will prove my strength, that will elevate my image in the eyes of the people, that of an ordinary northern lord, and achievements that will support my claim to the Empire when the time comes. Haahh…"

His body was gradually beginning to respond more deeply to Ygritte's movements. But he continued to speak.

"And although defeating Tywin Lannister on the battlefield would be an achievement, defeating the new Lannister army outside the Casterly Rock, then capturing the unconquered Casterly Rock, and finally defeating Tywin Lannister on the battlefield would bring me far more fame and make people see me not just as a war general but also as a strategist." He explained.

"So, you're trying to get the most out of the current situation," she said, while planting kisses on his neck.

"Yes, but that's not all."

"Oh, is there more?"

"What do you think Tywin Lannister will do when we destroy the new army waiting outside Casterly Rock and seize Rock and all its riches?" he asked.

"He is going to go crazy," she said, now moving to the other side of his neck.

"Exactly. Tywin Lannister's only remaining legacy is the current wealth of the Lannisters and the Rock. Losing Casterly Rock means losing the Lannister legacy he created with his own hands. He can't accept that. His only option is to mobilize his army, find me, and try to get back what he lost on the battlefield."

Domeric paused for a moment to gulp, then continued speaking, resisting the urge to get lost in the pleasure Ygritte was giving him.

"Then, instead of facing a calm and rational Tywin Lannister on the battlefield, I will be facing a man who has lost everything and is desperate to get it back. He will make mistakes. Moreover, since the North, the Riverlands, and the Vale will not be involved in the battle this time, all the glory and fame will be mine."

At that moment, Ygritte pulled away from his neck and pressed her lips against his, and they began to kiss passionately.

After a while, Domeric broke the kiss between them and said, "And that's not all. Once I capture Casterly Rock, I will take all the important Lannisters as war prisoners. This will give us leverage against Sansa's safety. Tywin might even want to exchange Sansa for the Lannister prisoners. And then all the Northern lords will feel indebted to me, and it will be easier to persuade them to support my imperial claim."

"You could really outsmart the devil himself. You know that, right, Domeric Bolton?"

She smirked, and he found himself getting lost in her eyes once again.

"Fuck it." He said, picked her up, and bent her over the table.

"Lord Stark can wait." He said and thrust inside her.
