After finishing dinner at Elder Carson's house, Ash and his friends set off to investigate the water source in the mountains because it wouldn't be right to ignore an old acquaintance in trouble. To make their journey easier, Ash released his Giant Dragonite, Dragonair, and Pidgeot.

With Ash, Pikachu, and Meowth riding on Dragonair, Misty, Suzy, Lyn, and Chansey perched on the back of Giant Dragonite, while Brock was carried by Pidgeot as they headed upstream. As they got closer, they encountered a daunting sight—countless thorns blocking their path.
"It looks like these thorns are obstructing the spring."65Lyn, looking distressed at the sight of the thorns, realized that clearing them by cutting would take a long time, and burning them could easily spark a fire.65"No, I think we have a way."
Looking beyond the thorns, Ash spotted a familiar Snorlax nearby.65"Let's head over there! If we can wake it up, we can sprinkle some seasoning on the thorns, and it'll definitely eat happily."
"Snorlax... those things can really eat."65Suzy nodded in agreement while staring at the distant Snorlax.65"Let's go to Snorlax!"
When they reached Snorlax's side, however, they faced a dilemma; waking up a Snorlax which sleeps heavily was notoriously difficult. After placing a sticker on his head from Chansey, Ash looked at Snorlax, who was breathing steadily despite the weight on its belly. With a resigned sigh, he said, "But I feel like even if I brought my Whismur Choir to sing Ode to Joy, this thing wouldn't wake up..."65'Whismur Choir... Unlike the less knowledgeable Misty and Lyn, Brock understood how famous the Whismur Choir was among breeders. On the other hand, Suzy, hearing Ash's comments, thought for a moment and added, "If it were any other Pokémon, it would be fine, but with Snorlax..."65Seeing the Snorlax still soundly asleep despite everyone talking around it, Suzy shrugged her shoulders with a slight shake of her head.65"You probably could sing Opera, and it still wouldn't wake up..."
At that moment, Jessie and James, carrying a camera, strolled into view.65"Sound check! This is Rocket TV! We're about to present a fairy tale for everyone! I'm your host, Jessie!"65"And I'm the cameraman, James. Now let's begin the dreamy fairy tale!"65"That's right!" *(Meowth!)
Watching Team Rocket's antics, Lyn, while sitting on soft Snorlax's belly, asked in confusion, "What are you three doing here?"65Upon hearing Lyn's question, Ash immediately sensed trouble. Just as he suspected, accompanied by their familiar BGM, Team Rocket's performance was underway.65Jessie: "Since you asked so sincerely!"65James: "I'll graciously tell you!"65Jessie: "To prevent the world from destruction!"65James: "To protect the peace of the world!"65Jessie: "To carry out love and truth!"65James: "A charming and delightful villain!"65Jessie: "Jessie!"65James: "James!"65Jessie: "We are Team Rocket, traversing the galaxy!"65James: "A bright tomorrow awaits us!"65Meowth: "That's right!"
Ash took a deep breath and grabbed the megaphone Meowth had handed him. He yelled, "Lyn didn't ask who you are! She asked what you're doing here!!!"65With the amplified sound, Team Rocket clutched their ears and fell flat, unable to handle the volume.
