She'd texted Arianna hours ago, confirmed the time, the place, made sure her best friend knew Anders would be glued to her side the entire time. That was the point.
The presence of her stone-faced bodyguard made everything… safer. Leonard wouldn't suspect a thing if Anders reported back. It would look like an innocent outing, like two girls shopping and laughing, spending too much money on things that didn't matter.
