Chapter 3 - Her

The group moved out, students automatically parting in the halls as they passed.

By the time they entered the lecture hall, most students were already seated.

The air buzzed with chatter, pens clicking, papers shuffling.

Isaac's group claimed the last rows. Some slumped into their chairs.

A couple of the guys immediately leaned back, arms crossed, eyes shut.

A few, like Kevin, actually stayed awake and paid attention.

Their rebellion doesn't equate to giving up.

Alex propped his feet on the empty chair in front of him, lazily twirling a pen between his fingers.

Issac sat back, fingers drumming against the desk, his gaze blank.

The lectures barely held his interest, but he stayed. If nothing else, it was a routine.

The professor walked in, calling for silence.

And then, the door opened.

Isaac felt it right away.

A thumping in his chest. An itch crawled beneath his skin.

"Her" pheromones crashed into him like a violent tide.

His sharp gaze snapped, tracking every detail with unsettling precision.

She walked in like she had never been touched by the world. She was graceful and dignified.

There was a stillness to her, an effortless dominance in how she carried herself.

Isaac felt something unusual.

Lust? yes. But not the typical desire? He wasn't sure himself.

Alex noticed first. "You good?"

Kevin glanced, exhaling. He already knew.

"Yeah." Issac coughed.

Liar.

Their college was a small private luxury place. Students were meant to recognise one another from different prestigious families.

A new student introduction was crucial.

The professor adjusted his glasses and glanced at the class.

"Alright, settle down. Before we begin, we have a new addition to our class. Technically, this is a second-year course, but exceptions are made for outstanding students."

He gestured toward the new girl. "Aimi Lionesse. Valedictorian. Perfect score on the entrance exam. She was the first in this college's history. Aimi will be joining us in this course, as she has requested. Be nice to your junior."

Murmurs rippled through the room.

"100/100? No way."

"The Lionesse family? Have you heard of them?" "No...Never...?"

"She's crazy pretty…Unreal."

Her beauty was something else. Long, jet-black hair flowed sleek down her back, thick and healthy with a natural shine. Her skin was porcelain, flawless. Her eyes, dark and bored, were framed by long lashes that barely blinked.

She was carved straight from a painting. Like a life-sized emo doll.

She took her seat at the front. Isaac's mind was already lost. His fingers tapped against the desk. His thoughts blurred.

By the time the final bell rang, his decision was made. The hallway buzzed with life as students shuffled towards the cafeteria.

Isaac was already moving. His gang flanked him as he cut through the noise.

And just like that, the air shifted.

Conversations dipped into whispers. Students instinctively moved aside, leaving the hallway empty.

They know something was up because the gang usually don't roam around much; they stay in the basement.

Aimi was mid-step when he reached her.

"There you are."

She paused, expression stoic.

Isaac smirked as he reached towards her. His fingers tipped her chin up, forcing her to look at him. "What a hotshot you are." His voice was a velvety drawl

She jerked her head away from his touch.

Alex hummed. "Hmmm. We got another one of those."

Kevin's sharp eyes roamed. "The attitude never lasts."

Alex turned to Isaac, eyes alight with anticipation. "What do you think?"

They noticed Isaac was sorta out of it. He seemed a bit...in his head? tired? frozen.

Isaac exhaled slowly, but the heat coiling inside him refused to settle.

It was strange. Just being this close felt like suffocation. He could feel his consciousness drifting.

Was it her doing? It has to be. He tried to remain composed.

"I like her face." His gaze dragged over her as he answered. "Body's not bad."

"Not bad?" Aimi looked away with a glint of condescension. "You're not even qualified to be conversing with me."

Silence.

Alex's smirk cracked. Kevin's brows lifted a fraction.

Isaac just stared at her for a beat before a laugh slipped past his lips.

"You sure are arrogant," his voice sang. "There are better. I've seen better. I've fucked better too." He used such words most casually.

Aimi barely spared a glance and brushed past the group. "Then go bother those 'better.' I'm not interested."

Alex was faster, looping an arm around her waist before she could step away. "Where are you goinggg~."

"Don't fucking touch me." Her escape was aggressive. Unexpected. Unlike the graceful image she was carrying.

Alex whistles.

Issac's inside twisted and scorched. Something was screaming but he still wasn't sure.

He was the only alpha in the entire school. Alphas were rare. So rare that most people would never meet one in their lifetime.

Unlike betas, who aren't able to register pheromones, alphas soak them like sponges. Isaac is even more sensitive than other alphas. He could sense it in his bones.

"Why don't y'all leave her to me?" He commanded.

His gang exchanged knowing smirks.

"Enjoy~" Alex patted his shoulder, grinning.

Kevin sighed. "Try not to go overboard."

With that, they disappeared, leaving just the two of them.

Aimi stiffened. A bad feeling coiled in her stomach.

Isaac took a step forward. "What is it? Scared?"

She instinctively took a step back.

He smiled. "Getting straight to the point." Tilting his head. "You're an omega, aren't you? A special one at that."

Her eyes widened just for a brief second. The suppressants she took were supposed to be so strong that not even the most sensitive alpha should be able to sense any pheromone.

"What do you want?" Her back hit a wall.

Isaac stepped closer, heat radiating from him like a storm on the brink.

"What does an alpha want to do to an omega?" He hummed. "Ask a smarter question."

Before she could react, his hands caught her waist.

And then—

His lips crashed against hers.

Their kiss was like a furnace, hot and demanding.

He devoured her mouth with reckless abandon, tongue probing the depths of Aimi's throat.

All her attempts to push him off were futile against the overpowering strength.

As he kissed, his hands roamed over her body, gently but also needily, his fingers digging softly into the flawless flesh. Aimi shivered at the sensation, feeling like she was drowning in his intensity.

The world around them melted away – all that remained was this raw desire between two bodies meant to be together.

Heat surged. Aimi was getting lightheaded. As an omega, her body naturally yearns to be touched. Just biology, she told herself, but the strength was leaving her legs.

When Isaac finally pulled away, also feeling lightheaded. His body was wrecked.

A single kiss had drained him more than hours of sex.

Aimi wasn't any better. Unsteady. Breathless.

"Let me go..." she whispered. Her voice was so soft and breathy.

Isaac exhaled deeply, wrapping both arms around her and burying his face into her shoulder.

If she asked him to die right now, he might.
