Chapter 208 - Chapter 101: Clearing the Field

Whirlpool Hidden Village, amidst the ruins, Ōnoki leaned precariously against a wall.

He looked at Kamihane incredulously, swallowing hard. "You... you're willing to let me go?"

"No, it's not letting you go." Kamihane leaned forward slightly, his voice dropping to a whisper near Ōnoki's ear, "You're going to roll."

The next instant, he exploded into action, his left fist slamming down with the force of a thunderbolt, narrowly missing Ōnoki's ear.

With a "bang," rubble flew everywhere as Kamihane's entire arm was embedded in the wall.

His other hand beckoned backward, and as the Karma mark on his palm flashed with electrical light, space caved inward, twisting and rotating, opening a dark abyss of a portal.

"Kaguya Ōtsutsuki."

Kamihane smiled slightly, and with a flip of his left hand, he grabbed Ōnoki's shoulder and casually threw him into the portal, as easily as tossing a potato behind him. In an instant, he disappeared without a trace.

"Oops, my hand slipped. He got away."

Looking at the bewildered Uzumaki clansmen, Kamihane pushed up his sunglasses, revealing a harmless smile.

He walked out of the ruins, glanced around, and at the ninja still fighting, an invisible wave radiated from his forehead, like a gentle evening breeze. His mental power turned into an invisible field that instantly enveloped the entire Whirlpool Village.

A sense of soul instantly locked onto all intruders.

At that moment, three tall ninja repelled their opponents and glanced at each other before running towards Kamihane.

They came with their blades drawn, their momentum fierce.

"Where did you take Lord Tsuchikage!"

Kamihane shook his head and chuckled. "You'd better worry about yourselves."

He inverted his hands, forming a standard "Boar" seal. The ground suddenly loosened, and slender twigs began to emerge, connecting and growing into vines. In less than half a second, a wooden wicker chair appeared behind Kamihane.

Facing the three fierce men charging towards him, he didn't attack. Instead, he lightly sat down on the chair, propping his face with one hand, looking relaxed and languid.

The three Iwa-nin were furious. In their eyes, this was blatant provocation and disdain. They immediately unleashed their full power, their blades almost tearing through the air, ready to shred the man in front of them to pieces!

Kamihane slightly closed his eyes. With a thought, his spirit body shot out from his forehead, circling around the three men like a dragon before disappearing into the battlefield.

"Thump! Thump! Thump!"

The three Iwa-nin fell to the ground like tumbling gourds, instantly losing all consciousness. Their pupils were dilated, and their breath was gone. Their spiritual origins had been erased by Kamihane, dying a death from which there was no return.

In the battlefield, Kamihane's spirit body moved freely. Based on the targets it had previously locked onto, it pierced into the foreheads of the enemies one after another. The speed was as fast as lightning!

An invisible breeze swept through, and the enemies fell like wheat being harvested.

The sudden collapse of the enemies surprised the Uzumaki clansmen.

The previous second, they had been fighting intensely and selflessly, but the next, they had died strangely. They looked at each other, trying to find an answer in each other's eyes, but without exception, they received the same bewildered gaze.

The spirit body rushed into their mental worlds, turning into sharp blades that instantly erased their helpless spiritual origins, leaving them no room for resistance.

Putting aside skill and experience, the duel between ninja was nothing more than seeing who had the stronger chakra.

Chakra was the energy extracted from every cell in the body, a perfect 1:1 fusion of mental energy and physical energy.

Compared to the physical struggle, where one could see the strength and weakness, the battle between invisible, intangible mental energies was undoubtedly much more subtle.

Throughout the ninja world, there was no shortage of gifted ninja who were born with far more mental energy than others. As long as they brought this difference and suppression to reality, they could easily defeat their enemies.

The Ninshū had been passed down for thousands of years, and the predecessors had already given a path: Genjutsu.

Under the effects of Genjutsu, even if other aspects were slightly inferior, as long as they brought the opponent into their mental world, their own territory, they could easily win.

And "Spiritualization Technique" was undoubtedly a simpler, more direct technique than Genjutsu, and also more cruel.

The spirit body entered the opponent's mental world and directly fought with their spiritual origins. The strong lived, and the weak died.

Without absolute certainty, one should never use it like this. A little carelessness could lead to an upset victory. There was a reason why the "Spiritualization Technique" was classified as a forbidden technique.

But these restrictions meant almost nothing to Kamihane.

Because he was a transmigrator and possessed the Uchiha clan's Sharingan bloodline, Kamihane's innate soul strength was far higher than that of ordinary people.

In addition, he later awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, practiced "Spiritualization Technique", and merged the visual prowess of Uchiha Kagami. His mental power had become unbelievably strong, of course, not without his growth and day-to-day hard work.

The result of absolute suppression at the soul level being brought to reality by the "Spiritualization Technique" was:

Those whose strength had not reached the Kage level were instantly killed in front of his "Spiritualization Technique".

Years ago, he could easily invade the minds of Kage-level powerhouses and then use Genjutsu to control their minds, taking over their bodies.

But if he had chosen to directly destroy their spiritual origins at that time, it would have taken a lot of effort. Although he could have done it, it would have taken a lot of work.

Moreover, the current Kage had learned to be smart. Ōnoki, Mizukage Sora, and even the Second Kazekage Shamon, whom he had just killed, had all placed clever restrictions on their own mental worlds. Kamihane's spirit body rushing in rashly would only be trapped.

This trick was clearly designed specifically for him.

But their subordinates were not so lucky. As the spirit body shuttled back and forth, many of the enemies who were fighting collapsed strangely, as if they had suddenly lost all their power.

In just a few seconds, all the enemies fighting at the village entrance had died, leaving none except the silent Third Mizukage.

The spirit body paused slightly, accelerated, and shot towards the sky, then flew quickly around the Whirlpool Hidden Village, killing the enemies hidden in the shadows or corners, before slowly hovering and returning to his body.

Kamihane opened his eyes, slowly got up from the wicker chair, stretched his body, and let out a long yawn.

A breeze blew through, and the formerly noisy Whirlpool Hidden Village fell into an eerie silence.

Everyone stared at him blankly, forgetting to breathe.

Mizukage Sora's body trembled. Others didn't know what had happened, but he knew very well!

This evil star had once again, in front of everyone present, directly used the "Spiritualization Technique" to harvest lives, slaughtering all of his subordinates!

How arrogant! How presumptuous!
