He dashes towards carl while aiming his sword at his chest,carl manages to deflect it with his sword while backing away.
Fizz dashes towards carl fiercely as he swing his sword at him,carl activated his technique sun slashing "second stage" flame dance .
Suddenly Carl's eyes turned red as he moves twice his speed, as he is moving side by side like a dance move twirling his sword around as flames follow his every trail.
Fizz was startled slightly as he couldn't predict Carl's moves,suddenly carl shot forward towards fizz aiming for a slash at his chest since he cannot kill fizz all he can attempt to do is to make a deep cut on fizz chest.
But as his sword was about to make contact with fizz chest a black mist like aura came out of fizz chest and modified into a sharp long blade and thrust forward to Pierce carl in the chest.
Carl barely dodge as it graped his chest a little as blood could be seen coming out of his turn cloth,carl immediately backed away looking at fizz warily.
"Hahahaha" fizz laughed while licking his lips,oh are you surprised by my attack, well I must say your reflexes are top-notch to be able to dodge my attack but this is just the beginning,fizz said as black mist ooze out of his body rapidly and modified into different sharp weapon,they shoot out of fiz body straight towards carl.
As carl uses his sword to slash them, one by one they turned into mist and return to fiz and ooze out of his body again turning into sharp long needle like shape object and head straight towards carl.
After going on for more than ten minutes of just striking the long black needles,carl is starting to get exhausted as some of the needles started grapping his legs and arms as more blood started oozing out .
Carl was panting profusely as sweat dripped down his face, carl decided to try out his new combination skill as he activate his two techniques thunder path first stage and sun slashing second stage.
Immediately he activated the two techniques carl body started emitting a little lightning bolt as he closes his eyes and breathe out as steam came out of his mouth,he bent his knee slightly as fizz senses that carl his about to do something due to his rise in aura,he activate his own sword technique as he shouted hollow blade and dashes towards carl.
Carl bent his knee slightly and place his red glowing sword behind his waist while holding the hilt,he then open his eyes as they glowed red and blue lightning dances around his iris he dashes towards fizz with lightning speed.
Then "BOOM" both of them crashes against each other as a blue and black aura illuminated the sky, then a huge explosion followed as shockwaves spread destroying many nearby trees and craters formed throwing dust everywhere.
Slowly the dust settles as both carl and fizz cough out a mouthful of blood as carl collapse on the ground feeling very exhausted, the technique combination really drained him but his eyes widened when he saw fizz get up from the craters and walked towards carl with blood dripping down his forehead,nose and mouth he smiled sheepishly as he licked the blood by the side of his mouth.
"Hehehehe" look at you very pathetic you can't even move up to defend yourself, you know what I am going to torture you so hard that you will be traumatized he said with a huge smile on his face.
But just as he raised up his arm to thrust his sword into Carl's thigh suddenly an over whelming aura spread throughout the surrounding as both carl and fizz both turned their head towards a distance as a figure slowly came into view.

Two individuals climbed up a tree and stared at the direction carl and fizz were, do you think that it's the alpha rank beast asked one of the two which appears to be a female .
It's most likely the best explanation for that explosive, someone must have been fighting the beast but let's check it out said the second one but appears to be male,both of the individual jumped from trees to trees at a very fast pace.

The silver haired girl looked at Carl and fizz before turning her gaze towards the direction they are looking,A huge grin appears on her lips as she jumped down from the tree she was sitting and dashes towards carl and fizz direction also.

Fizz and Carl stared at the figure as it slowly came into view, it's a beast with black skin and scales covering all it's body it has long nails like claws and it's eyes are glowing golden yellow as drool could be seen dripping down it's mouth.
