I sighed, trying to explain as simply as I could. "It's not just about how many satellites we have. It's about the sudden collapse — the sheer force of it. When the satellite and the meteorite clashed, it must have released an immense amount of energy. It might have disturbed a lot of orbital systems around the Earth. On top of that, the collision probably released a massive wave of electromagnetic energy into the atmosphere. That kind of surge can easily disrupt communication signals, GPS systems, and even the local electricity grids."

Everyone listened intently, the weight of the situation slowly settling in.

"In short," I added, glancing at my dead phone screen, "it's not just about a satellite being there. It's about the balance between the waves, the signals, and the overall atmospheric stability. Right now, that balance has been shattered. That's probably why our internet and network are completely down."

A heavy silence followed my words.
