Jude is … perfect.
If I wasn't convinced that I was head over heels for him, now I am more than. Never would I have imagined that he would come alive like this, bloom under my touch, and offer me the greatest gift I have only managed to taste and not devour.
"Baby," I murmur as I press a kiss at the back of his neck, and he sighs, melting with my touch. "How do you feel?"
I have never shared such an intimate, heavy moment with my past lovers like I have just done with Jude.
There was name-calling, and I enjoyed it in the heat of the moment, needing to sate that desire to take care of someone completely, have them surrender to me physically, completely.
But there were no feelings involved. After the moment was over, it all felt void, the names didn't hold any weight anymore, there was no need to keep up with the play outside the bed, and it has always made me feel like I am doing something unsatisfying.
Always left feeling emptier than I was before.
