MIKO
"What the hell is going on?"
Kai, my cousin, joins me on the couch, handing me another drink. I can't remember if this is my fifth glass or my seventh. All I know is, I want to drink as much as I can, enough to get me wasted and forget about the boy who is dancing with a friend, looking as carefree, and making new friends.
New faces, drinks, and Jude decide that he is ready to have the world at his feet.
"What do you mean?" I ask Kai as I gulp down the icy, burning drink.
"Jude. Are you guys fighting?"
"No."
"Oh, I thought you guys weren't a thing anymore. Could have explained why he is surrounded by all those girls and kissing them."
"We are not a thing," and that's the beginning of my problems. "And whoever he kisses isn't my problem." I wish.
