JUDE
I wake up with a gasp, eyes bleary, and I have to moan because the movement just made me feel like my head is being detached from my body.
With a groan, I lift my upper body slowly, leaning on my elbows as I lie on my stomach.
Huh.
I am in my room. How did I get here? Why do I feel so shitty, like I am about to throw up or cry, as I throw up? It takes a lot of effort for me to look around, squinting because even opening my eyes is asking for a lot of energy. I jerk when I see a person at the foot of my bed.
"I see that you are awake."
"What-how did I get here?"
Miko stands up and walks over to my window, leaning against it as he looks at me with pursed lips. He doesn't look impressed. It's pathetic, really, that I feel relief that he is here, looking at me, talking to me when he has all but avoided me for two weeks straight now. Only interacting with me when we are with our friends.
