ANDRE
"Oh, hey Josie, where is Zein? I have been trying to find him, but I can't catch him anywhere," I say as I muse with my hair, all wet from the shower I have just taken.
I am exhausted to the bones after our last show, but needing to talk to Zein holds a higher priority than me going to slump in a chair and wait to head to the party.
In truth, I don't have anything to say to him; I just want to 'borrow' something as I try to see if he has any plans for the long break.
I wonder if he is going home or staying. Maybe if he tells me his plans, then I can start thinking about mine because I can't seem to commit to anything before knowing about his.
But Josie doesn't seem to share my urgency, if any, and instead downright ignores me as she walks past me, eyes on her phone.
Perhaps she didn't even see me, poor manager working extra hard all the time.
