REX
A hiss escapes my lips as cloud figs the space in front of me from the strain between my fingertips.
I let the smoke settle in my lungs before releasing with a soft exhale. Standing up, I walk over to the glass door leading to the balcony overlooking the ocean. It's too early for me to sleep, despite the whole villa being asleep now.
It's the first day, and I don't know why I thought my sleep pattern would change from the change of environment.
Looking at the blunt between my fingers, I take another hit. At least this shit helps me sleep. But right now I feel too calm, relaxed, that the very thing I have been struggling with is slowly coming to me.
I haven't written anything for months, and that shit has been concerning. I always have a pen and paper in hand, or typing away in my notes app, lyrics, words coming through.
