"You never told me this would happen, Rex."
Minah is hot on my heels as I lead her to the massive kitchen.
"I forgot that it's your first time, minah, but I will fix this, don't worry," I turn to give her a charming smile.
"I'm starving," she grins, her hand falling on the small of my back, and I almost halt my steps. Her touch sends shivers all over my body.
"Munchies are normal, baby girl, but I will make sure you get the best meal of your life," I round the marble counter to go to the stove, and start to rummage through the cabinets. She settles on the stool, but then comes to the side I am on, and watches my every move.
"What are you making?"
"Burgers. Greasy, juicy burgers to start the day well," I grin at her, and she nods, grinning back. We talked until the early hours of the morning, getting just a few hours of sleep before Minah knocked on my door, demanding food because munchies were killing her.
"You aren't on a diet, right?"
