Chapter 324 - THE BOY IN THE SHADE OF BLUE

Rin is awfully quiet, folded in on himself by the couch, staring at the one spot on the floor.

It's a posture I have never seen him in. It looks too humane for my comfort if I am being honest. That thought alone makes me think about how I have perceived Rin, from the time we met to now. How has he behaved and acted around us?

He was closest to Miko. They got along better, and it was like two peas in a pod. Miko knew all the cues about Rin, what he needed and what he preferred, just like best friends do.

But it was a little more than that, both of them.

So in my memories, I don't remember just Rin, but Rin with Miko. He hung out with Miko only, and interacted with the rest on a need-to-basis only. It wasn't weird, it was fine. Everyone had paired up anyway, and we were all still friends.
