I park the car, before looking at the backseat with all the groceries I got, and then step outside and go take them all out.
Looking up, there is not a single window opened nor a curtain drawn, which means Jude is still asleep or, at the studio again.
It would be crazy if he were at the studio because yesterday was a big celebration. He wasn't at the after-party that was held in our name.
None of us were, and that's okay.
We are still dealing with major losses, and we won't be okay any time soon.
There was a time all we ever could dream of was living in a place like this, with this much freedom, and yet now that we are, it doesn't feel like we imagined.
