The sky was overcast with dark clouds, as though a hole had been torn open in the heavens, and rain and lightning fell incessantly.
The black lightning was only visible when it flashed intermittently.
But the rain had no chance to reach the ground, for beneath the clouds, three-colored flames spun and rose from the earth.
When the flames met the rain, the water evaporated, creating a mist that lingered but for an instant before being completely vaporized by the strange tri-colored flames.
Beneath the flames, the earth was scorched, and those who failed to escape could only endure the burning and heat brought by the flames.
Even so, the lightning from the sky was harvesting their lives with deadly precision.
Where the flames had not spread, people of various races panicked at the sight.
Some fled for their lives, wanting to leave this place as quickly as possible.
Others clenched their teeth and charged into the whirl of three-colored flames.
