{In Mexico}
Ariana returned from her weekly shopping and as usual Roberto isn't home yet.
She had dinner and went to her room. Later that night she couldn't sleep.
Ariana could hear weird noise coming from the building beside the penthouse.
The noise has kept her up for some days now and today she's decided to investigate herself.
Ariana wore her night robe and went downstairs.
"You're not allowed in here" A guard said to her the moment she stood infront of the building.
"What do you mean by I'm not allowed? My husband is your boss which means I'm your boss as well" Ariana said.
"I'm sorry ma'am but these are direct orders from your husband" he said.
Ariana sighs in frustration. "Fine, I'd leave"
Thirty minutes later Ariana snuck into the building without anyone seeing her.
She tipped toed past countless room but one in particular caught her attention.
A low whimper was heard and the clutter of chains.
Ariana slowly opened the door, to her surprise Jessica sat on the floor with her hands bound by chains.
Ariana gasped in horror. "Finally come to gloat I see" Jessica said.
"Who did this to you?" Ariana asked. Jessica scoffs. "Like you care"
Ariana tried to break her free from the chains. "I hope you're feeling good about yourself?" Jessica asked.
"Who did this to you?"
"Take a wild guess" Jessica said. "No it can't be. Roberto would never.... He would never hurt a fly" Ariana said.
Jessica chuckles. "Never hurt a fly? He's a mafia boss, how stupid can you be? Do you really think he's changed just because you're married to him?"
"Enough talk, let's get you out of there" Ariana said as she made her way towards her.
"NO!! Don't come close.... He placed me here, if you touch anything he would know" Jessica said.
"Why would he do this to a human being?" Ariana asked in confusion.
"He got upset the moment he found out I was fine being on my own. Did you really think I loved that guy? I only did that because my parents needed his support for their company" Jessica said.
"So you played the role of a love sick girl just to please your parents?" Ariana asked.
"You can say that" Jessica said.
"I only asked them to escort you out of the premises.... I never would have imagined they'd do this to you... All this time I've wondered where you've been but Roberto said you ran off to some country with a new lover.... You've been in here?"
Jessica nods slowly.
"What does he do to you?" Ariana said. "Why don't you see for a yourself?" Jessica said.
"I can't confront him.... He'd flip if he sees me here" Ariana said. "Hide inside the closet then" Jessica said.
Ariana hid inside the closet, she placed her hands on her mouth the minute Roberto entered the room.
"Did you miss me?" Roberto asked. Jessica remained silent.
Roberto hits her across the face. Ariana held her mouth to prevent sounds from coming out.
Roberto on the other hand heard noise coming from the closet, he stepped closer.
"Why are you here? Isn't your wife home to satisfy you?" Jessica asked trying to distract him from opening the closet.
"My wife's sleeping peacefully in her room" Roberto replied as he walks back to her.
"Is she aware that your ex fiancee is in your basement?" Jessica asked. Roberto grabbed her by the chin.
"You're being extra chatty today.... What are you up too?" Roberto asked in suspicion.
"I'm just surprised how you're still obsessed with me despite denying your feelings for me. I mean why go through all this length to keep me locked up?"
"You know too much" Roberto said. "Are you sure that's the reason why you're obsessed with me" Jessica said.
Roberto took off his belt and whipped her.
"Do you normally do this to your new bride?" Jessica asked. "I can never do such a thing to her. She's too fragile.... Too innocent. Unlike you" Roberto said.
"You're being a hippocrate" Jessica said.
Ariana closed her eyes but she could still here Jessica scream in pain as Roberto continues to hit her.
Hours passed and Ariana witness Roberto have sex with Jessica in the most horrifying way possible.
By the time he was done, Jessica was passed out on the floor. Roberto left the room.
Ariana waited thirty minutes before climbing out of the basement.
Rain began to pour hard by the time Roberto was done. Ariana on the other hand walked out of the mansion into the pouring rain.
She couldn't believe the horror she just witnessed. Couldn't believe a person can bleed while having sex with someone and the part that sickens her the most is the fact that Jessica seemed to enjoy it.
By the time Ariana could make sense of everything she found herself in front of a familiar door.
She knocked gently but remembered there was a doorbell.
She rang the doorbell multiple times and a maid opened the door.
"Florence who's at the door?" Samantha asked. "It's your daughter-in-law madam" Florence replied.
Samantha rushed to the door. "Ariana what are you doing here? Where's Roberto?" Samantha asked.
Ariana remained silent. "Come inside child, you must be freezing" Augustine said.
Samantha led her inside. "Florence bring fresh clothes and a cup of hot cocoa" Augustine said.
Ariana shivered from the cold. "What happened my love? Did something happen?" Samantha asked.
"Did you and Roberto have an argument?" Augustine asked.
Ariana shook her head. "Then what's the matter love?" Samantha asked.
"I had a nightmare..... I didn't know where else to go.... I'm sorry" Ariana whispered.
"I'll call your husband" Augustine said. "No.... Don't disturb him, he's probably in a meeting" Ariana said.
"No man is too busy for his wife" Augustine said. "It's raining.... I'm scared..... I don't feel like going home"
"Honey did you and Berto have an argument?" Samantha asked.
"No. I haven't seen him for sometime now" Ariana said. "So that punk is ignoring his wife..... I ought to deal with him" Augustine said.
"How about you get changed dear.... We'll talk in the morning" Samantha said.
Ariana was left alone. She got changed and slept on the couch.
The next morning Ariana open her eyes. She could remember sleeping on the couch last night but her heart left her throat the moment she saw Roberto sitting beside her.
He touched her head but she flinched. "Woah.... Relax, I'm just checking your temperature" He said.
"How are you feeling darling?" Samantha asked. "Good" Ariana replied in a hoarse voice.
"I was so worried when I couldn't find you in your room. Only to get a call from mom that your here and you have a fever" Roberto said.
He touched her face but that made her want to barf.
"Are you alright?" Augustine said in concern. "Bathroom!!! By the left!!!! Hurry" Samantha who has been a mother knew this scenario all too well.
Ariana ran to the bathroom and barfed everything in her stomach. The sight of Roberto is making her sick.
"To think he has a sick personality, yet he acts like an angel. I can't help but wonder if Jessica is his only victim" Ariana said to herself in the mirror.
She rinsed her face. "You can do this. Just try not to barf on the man"
Ariana went back to the living room. "How're you feeling?" Roberto asked.
"Good" She replied in a whisper.
Florence hands Ariana a cup of tea.
"Are you pregnant?" Samantha asked causing Ariana to spit out the hot tea.
"No mum..... It could probably be the fever" Ariana replied nervously.
Roberto pats her head but she flinched yet again. "Is something wrong? Did I do something wrong?" He asked in concern.
"It's probably because I'm tired" Ariana replied.
"Are you sure?" He asked. "Yeah" She replied.
"Let's go home" Roberto said. "Can I stay a little longer?" Ariana asked.
"Roberto what have you done to my daughter that she has refused to return home with you?" Augustine asked.
"I haven't done anything to her. I would never hit her" He said defending himself.
"Go home.... I'll bring her over myself" Samantha said.
Roberto kissed her forehead. "I'll be waiting for you at home honey" He said. "Sure" Ariana replied.
