Chapter 555 - Chapter 98 Yin Xi

Yin Xi, also known as Guan Yin, styled Wengong, titled Wenshi Taoist. Born in the Zhou Dynasty, he perused all kinds of books from an early age, studied ancient texts, mastered the Astrology Technique, understood ancient times, and saw the future.

He once served as an official, and in the twenty-third year of King Zhao of Zhou, foreseeing that chaos would soon engulf the world, he resigned his official post and requested to take up the position of border commander at Han Valley Pass.

Among the tales most widely circulated among the common folk, however, is that of Laozi riding his Green Bull out of Han Valley Pass, transforming barbarians into Buddhists, with Yin Xi respectfully greeting Laozi at the gates of Han Valley Pass.

A violet qi from the east, traversing thirty thousand miles, Laozi entered the city, left behind a copy of the Tao Te Ching, then continued westward out of the pass.
