Between the mountains, the river water is clear to the bottom.

He followed the light and looked over, but besides a group of carps playing at the river bottom, there was nothing else in the river.
Sun Wukong opened his Eyes of Golden Flame to observe again, then he laughed in realization, "So it's here."
He crouched down, stirring the water with his hand, and the school of carps swam over.
Sun Wukong grabbed one of them, flipped it over to look, and saw its belly swollen with a flickering light inside.
"You've hidden it pretty deep!"
Sun Wukong reached toward the belly of the fish.
