We plan to descend to the mortal realm to preach the Dao, to spread the Daoist teachings extensively, using the thoughts of the scriptures to purify the hearts of all beings. With the great Tao in one's heart, one need not fear the Heavenly Demon."
Bai Jin instinctively thought of the Contention of a Hundred Schools of Thought and the preaching by the Hundred Schools -- could it be for the purpose of combating the Heavenly Demon?
"Master, preaching to enlighten the people seems to be a very slow process!"
Taishang said with deep feeling: "Yet this is the most effective method. Only with the great Dao in their hearts can one truly become an Immortal God; otherwise, no matter how strong, they're merely a cultivator."
