After saying goodbye to the future Tony and promising to pick him up in a few days, Kino came alone to the planet Karstar.
This place was beautiful, with clear mountains and rivers, and no industrial pollution. Everywhere was filled with the breath of life.
[Pamela would definitely like this place.]
"I like it too," Kino said.
Walking through a rural field, Kino picked a spiky fruit, broke it, and took a bite.
"Wow, it's sour!"
The taste was somewhat similar to passionfruit.
[Then why are you still eating it?]
"Well, it's from a friend. I had to give it a try."
Finishing the fruit, Kino arrived at a ruined wooden house.
Beside it was a grave, and in front of the grave was a broken golden armor.
It should have been built by Nebula.
Kino took out Thanos' body, placing it in a sitting position on a wooden chair, facing the rising sun.
Kino sat on another chair across from him.
"Thanos, you really know how to pick a spot. You took the best spot on this whole planet."
"To be honest, I think you were a bit crazy. Killing half of all life does temporarily ease the universe's resource problems, but they can reproduce. In a few years, it'll go back to how it was."
"You'd have been better off using the Infinity Stones to become the ruler of the universe. It would've been more convenient."
"Well, now look at you, dead at my hands!"
"Was it really that bad to follow me? You lived well, ate well, and my employees always rated me highly. Of course, anyone who dared to rate me badly… well, they didn't last long."
Kino muttered to himself.
He rambled about his criticisms and future plans, speaking them all out loud.
Venom listened quietly, not saying a word.
"Forget it, I've said enough, and you can't even hear me. I've got things to do. I'm not at the retirement stage yet."
Kino stood up, about to leave, but then paused.
He thought for a moment, then took out the Time Stone.
"Ugh, guess I'm sticking my nose in where it doesn't belong."
A huge green magical array covered the entire planet, then disappeared.
This array wouldn't interfere with the planet's operations, but no outsiders would be able to enter the planet.
Kino glanced back at Thanos one last time before stepping into a portal.
Thanos, facing the rural landscape, seemed to have a faint, almost imperceptible smile on his face.
Five Days Later.
A group of people gathered in a small wooden house to bid farewell to Stark.
"After I leave, I'll announce that Iron Man has died in an accident," Stark said to his old friends.
"Yeah, Mr. Stark, I'll miss you," Holland Spider said, looking reluctant.
"Don't worry, I'll come back when I can. Also, to prevent you from bankrupting Stark Industries, I've set up a few insurance measures."
"Can I ask what those are?"
"You'll find out when the time comes."
Stark smiled mysteriously and turned to the silent Future Captain America.
"I'm leaving, old popsicle."
"Goodbye, Tony."
"I've learned something from another version of myself: the world won't fall apart just because one person is gone. Try living the life you want. When you're ready, go find Banner. I've left something for you."
"I'll consider it," Future Captain America replied.
Stark then looked at Green Hulk.
"Not coming with me?"
"No, Tony, I've got things I'm attached to here, and I want to see if I can produce the same results as my other self."
Banner had returned to his younger self and, with the help of the others, had started a new identity and life, funded by Stark for his lab work. His heart was full of ambition.
Stark didn't persuade him. He took out a phone and handed it to Thor.
"What's this?"
"A gift for you. Everyone gets one."
Thor curiously opened it, but Stark stopped him.
"Wait until I'm gone to open it."
"Okay."
Suddenly, a portal appeared, and Kino, with long hair, walked out.
"Ready? We're about to leave."
"Kino, can you handle that too? Those are my belongings I need to take with me."
Kino followed his finger, looking at three containers.
"Is that all?"
"Yes, everything I hold most dear is here."
Stark picked up his daughter and little Pepper.
"Hehe, love you 3,000 times."
Morgan clung to Stark's neck and affectionately nuzzled him.
After Kino packed everything up, he snapped his fingers while wearing the Infinity Gauntlet.
"OK, all Skrulls across the universe are gone. Let's go!"
"Reliable," Stark gave a thumbs up, leading his two girls into the portal.
The others watched them disappear and, curious, gathered around Thor.
"Quick, open it and see what the gift is."
"It could be one of Tony's games."
"That's definitely a Thor-style gift."
Thor opened the phone, and a video immediately popped up.
"Stop it! I am the king of gods, Odin's son, Thor! You'll face divine punishment for doing this!"
…
"Odin's son? I'm still a level three researcher under the Demon King!"
…
"No, please, leave me something."
…
Finally, in the video, Thor turned into a bald man crying.
Crunch, crunch.
Thor was surrounded by lightning, his face expressionless as he looked at the shattered pieces in his hand.
The scene was eerily silent.
"I just remembered, I have a date today. I'll go now." Natasha naturally grabbed her bag and quickly walked out.
"I just remembered I have a date too," Barton said, following her out.
"Banner, let's see what Tony left me," Future Captain America said.
"Okay, you'll never guess what it is," Green Hulk replied.
The two left, leaving behind a flustered Holland Spider, who was quickly trying to think of an excuse.
"Uh, what I meant to say was, that's another world's Thor. Your hair isn't really like that..."
Before he could finish, Holland Spider's spider-sense went off like crazy.
With a start, he dashed out of the wooden house.
"Tony Stark!"
Boom—
A bolt of lightning struck the house, shattering it into ruins.
Thor, face darkened, flew into the sky.
"When Stark comes back, he's going to kill me!"
Holland Spider jumped from a tree, looking at the ruins with a miserable face.
"I don't think so."
"He probably predicted this situation already."
"Has Thor reacted this way before?"
"It's hard to say. For a time five years ago, his hair did get short."
"What a shame, there were no backups. Thor actually cried because of this."
The others, who had left earlier, reappear
