Chapter 295 - Chapter 292: Abomination, Beaten Into the Ground

The snowy plains howled with fierce winds as snowflakes danced across the air. The world was blanketed in a cold, white silence.

"Aooooooh!"

A howl—sorrowful and piercing like a mournful cry—echoed across the barren snowfields. The sound was chilling enough to freeze the heart.

A massive, black figure with bulging muscles roared madly as it swung its hammer-like fists with frenzied power. Every punch was accompanied by a howling gust of wind and such force that ghostly afterimages followed its fists through the air.

That shadowy figure was none other than Black Hulk, who at that moment was furiously pummeling a massive punching bag. Each strike made the earth tremble slightly, as if miniature earthquakes were erupting beneath him.

But suddenly, a foot—just as enormous—slammed into Black Hulk's stomach, sending him flying like a cannonball across the snowy landscape and crashing into the ground with an eruption of snow.

Out of a crater, a bruised and battered figure slowly climbed to his feet.

It was Abomination. Clutching his aching stomach, he scowled and cursed at the black monster, "Why the hell are you crying?! I'm the one getting beat to hell here!"

Now five meters tall, Abomination's body swelled with nearly bursting muscles. His damage absorption had reached its limit.

With his emergence, the lurking Gamma monsters in the area swarmed toward him. They snarled and lunged, baring claws and teeth.

"Annoying bastards!"

Abomination became a spinning meat grinder, his thick arms sweeping out in crushing arcs. Any monster within reach was either pulverized on the spot or sent flying into the air—none could withstand his brutal power.

The fight had barely begun when Black Hulk returned, his massive body moving with hurricane-like force. He hurled his iron-fist punches at Abomination with wild fury.

"You son of a—!"

Abomination growled, but his words were drowned in a thunderous boom.

BOOM!

A column of snow erupted into the sky like a geyser, seemingly tearing the heavens apart.

What followed was a brutal, one-sided beatdown. Every punch from Black Hulk left Abomination defenseless and overwhelmed.

At last, seizing a small opening, Abomination summoned all his strength and landed a powerful kick that temporarily knocked Black Hulk back.

Then, as if affected by an invisible shockwave, the nearby Gamma monsters were suddenly flung into the air, aligning midair in a straight line like puppets pulled by the same string.

Soon after, Red Tank appeared before Abomination.

"There's no exit. No matter which direction I run, I end up back here."

Red Tank's expression was grim. He understood—they were trapped.

Hearing this, Abomination showed no signs of despair. Instead, he nodded firmly.

"Got it. You clear the Gamma monsters—I'll handle Hulk. Just hold out until help arrives."

"Understood. Waiting for rescue."

Red Tank agreed without hesitation. He was always straightforward; once he accepted a task, he saw it through completely.

As the two continued to battle the surrounding monsters, a device Abomination had carefully protected began to emit static.

"Sha...yo...sha...na…"

Abomination instantly recognized the broken voice. "Haha! Banner! I knew those nine PhDs of yours weren't for show!"

As he laughed, he crushed two nearby Gamma monsters' heads like walnuts with his bare hands.

Red Tank glanced over—he had heard of Dr. Banner.

"Sha...situation...like...Hulk…"

Though choppy, Abomination understood the question.

"We're stuck in some pocket dimension. Hulk's turned into a black version—eight meters tall and ridiculously strong."

"Sha...understood...you're in an isolated space...ETA five hours to open it. How long can you last?"

Outside, Banner and Tony were working side by side on a console.

Tony eyed the device Banner had conjured with envy. That Green Lantern Ring really was the perfect tool for a scientist.

"Five hours. I—wait."

From the comms, sounds of intense fighting surged. After a long pause, Abomination's voice returned.

"I'm being swarmed by Hulk and thousands of Gamma beasts. I can last maybe two hours. I don't know about Red Tank."

Banner fell silent. He knew this was pushing the limits.

Tony then offered, "What if we blast this area with high energy to disrupt the space? It might open a temporary channel."

"I could jump in and help."

Banner shook his head.

"No. Even if it works, the passage would be dangerously unstable. Even in the Apollo armor, your survival chances are close to zero."

"What about a weapon then?"

Tony's words sparked inspiration. Banner looked over the Apollo armor—no good, no one inside to operate it. It'd be worse than useless.

He glanced at the Green Lantern Ring—also a dead end. No compatible users nearby.

He activated another channel.

"Hulk's gone berserk. Abomination and Red Tank are under threat. Does anyone have a single-person weapon—simple enough for them to use immediately?"

There was silence on the other end.

They had plenty of advanced weapons—but ones capable of stopping Hulk? Very few.

"I have one. Not sure if they qualify to use it."

Killian's voice came through.

"Bring it. And the Mother Box too. How soon can you get it here?"

"Thirty seconds."

Just after the comm cut off, a silver blur appeared in front of Banner.

"Dr. Banner, your package has arrived. Please sign here."

Pietro handed over the package, giving Tony an annoyed glare before vanishing.

Tony scratched his nose awkwardly.

Banner opened the box and was briefly stunned—then smiled.

"Didn't think Killian would be the first to finish."

Without wasting time, Banner hooked the Mother Box into the main console and looked at Tony.

"All yours."

"Understood. The critical part always falls to me."

Tony donned the Apollo Armor.

"Jarvis, full power mode. After firing, compress the energy into a single focal point."

[Sir, this will destroy the suit. It may be unrepairable.]

"Do it."

Next moment, countless cannons extended from the armor, each glowing with radiant light.

Together, they unleashed a concentrated beam of blue energy, just five meters wide but unimaginably intense, racing toward the spatial barrier.

Though the beam seemed small, its deep blue hue revealed a terrifying temperature—over 10,000 Kelvin, enough to melt nearly anything.

But instead of soaring outward, the beam struck a transparent spatial wall.

Upon contact, a symphony of fire and electric arcs erupted, like a spectacular explosion of fireworks tearing through the sky.

Quote of the Chapter:

"In the heart of a storm, true strength isn't in who punches harder, but in who stands last."
